I own 4 glock: 23,27,30 and 36 , I had been looking for holster that I can wear under my suite Jacket, without been so noticeable . I do like this presentation Thank You!!
I just bought the same holster online but I haven't recieved it yet. I have a GLOCK 19, i use a regular cheap in the waistband holster but its not secure, by glock almost fell out when i was running. How secure would you say yours is?
@TheLateBoyScout i am very impressed by Glocks coating though, i dropped my G17 RTF2 on the side walk the other day and it bairly scraped it...the rear sight took most of the force but it didnt really didnt hurt it either...thats for the review! i will pick one up ASAP
I have a G26, and I use a Minotaur MTAC which I love. Now that I've watched this review, I think I'm going to get a new holster. I do need one that's not an IWB.
I absolutely despise this holster. Dmine doesn't draw correctly and is just overall uncomfortable. My glocks ride best in a galco summer comfort IWB. I wish I had the same luck with the sport/combat. Id love to love it :(
@coburna5 It's not the only good holster out there - plenty better ones out there, I'm sure. This one is working great for me, especially for the price, but to each his own.
@Gordondon Fully ambidextrous. To add a little to what LBS said here, I have one for my G17 and can put a fully loaded mag [nothing in the pipe] hold it upside down and shake it as hard as I can and it will not budge. That is a full size with 17 rounds. Also there is no movement of the gun what so ever unlike some of the serpa holsters I have seen, though they may have just been worn out.
I always wanted to get one of those, but I heard from people that have had them that the belt loops break easy. Can anyone offer input on that? But they are cost effective, I have seen them for $9 on amazon.
I am going to try to pick one of these up at a show this weekend. I read that the different tabs can be cut out to adjust cant forward or backward. Of course it can't be adjusted once you choose how you want it, but at $13, that's not really a problem. You can buy another one and adjust it differently.
@USMCFISCELLA I can't say definitively, but based on what I've read, yes. As I understand it, the SF models have a smaller handle, with a few millimeters shaved of the backstrap. If that's the only real difference I can't see any reason why they would not work with this holster. That said, I'd get an official answer on that from Glock before buying.
@TheLateBoyScout there are 2 different models of the glock sport compact holster. a small for the 9mmm & .40 caliber guns and a large for the 10mm & .45 caliber guns. there is a considerable difference in width of the slide and grip on these 2 families of guns and the holsters are not interchangeable.
simple no frills, don't know why people think they have to spend a ton of money to get a decent holster, i have sold or given away most of my expensive ones
This holster is great for any of the similar model glocks. I've run my 34 through mine for competition before I got a better holster. Additionally, I have a Galco Summer comfort for my CCing of the 26. Let me know if you want me to shoot a quick video and post as a reply to one of yours. Thanks for the great video!
@CQB650 I actually have a different slide plate cover on there, meant to work with another cary system. The protrusions you see are screws going in to the slide plate that work with that system. I don't use that system anymore, but haven't gotten around to putting the old slide plate back on. I'll make a video review soon on that carry system and talk about why I stopped using it.
What are the 'flat black' looking painted squares on the slide and barrel of your Glock?

it would be a level one. level1 is classed as friction, lvl 2 and 3 are mechanical. Anyway, i am going to try to convert one to iwb with J clips.

I never paid attention to these holsters. Thought they seemed kinda cheesy 'til I watched this video. Just ordered one. Thanks for the review!

After seeing this video I purchased it. I am going to use it tonight see how I like it.

almost no retention, cheap, you can actually put in on your belt and someone can rip it off breaking the belt slide itself.
You get what you pay for.

Does it mark up the slide?
j5maiques 1 year ago
@j5maiques Nope. It does mark up the frame of the gun a bit though, as any holster would.
