I've had loads of holidays in Bridlington, I love the place and surrounding areas. (I live & work In Barnsley ) So of course I can't comment on what life is actually like for the folk who live in Brid. My hair dresser used to be up in Old Town but by the looks of it he's retired waaaaaaauuuuuuuughhhhhhhh. Honestly the sights around Brid are really pretty, Especially the awesome cliffs a little further down the coast. Peace to you all xxxxxxxx

i no how you feel about brid, i havnt lived her all my life, but the majority of it, brids a nice place.. for, tourists, but if u live here its the same thing, again and again and it gets boring, can you imagin what its like for us living her in winter? it is SHITE! there is NOTHING to do, the teenagers round her all drink and smoke and fight..loiter in parks, people wonder why, thats the only thing to do.
as a teenager me and my friends always get shit from other gangs of teenagers for dressin the way we do, its shit, and i think brid most certainly puts tourists before the people who live here, its not right, nice vid btw, love the piccys.

Brid is in no way 'full of cash'...it is a degenerate waste of a town that depends on the summer months to make any money, the supposedly 'good' jobs ar emainly managerial positions in office based franchises. There is no way to be truly successful in Brid, you have to move somewhere like London or even Leeds to be truly successful in anyway, you cannot have any future living there. I moved to London a year ago and I have seen what its like to live somewhere with a chance at having a future...
id say the unfortunate thing about bridlington is the fact that it has been modernised too much, look at scarborough, it has wonderfull areas of park and wonderfull views. bridlington is a seaside town and should stay one in my view, then more tourists = more money = more to spend on making the town better, but anyway thats just my view, better than others of my age! im also 15, but do you live in brid? if u do, have u not realised, yer, ok brids a lovely place for tourists but there vertually nothing to do here. like my comments ive already posted on the matter.

Brid is finally geting a revamp with a new marina and town development. I've lived in Canada and Spain and always end up returning to Brid... Tenerfie was full of Protsitutes and Thieves.. I know where I'd rather be :)
The druggies i mentioned are from outside "ie" Westies. The good ppl of Bridlington are top notch and the town is great but it's the outsiders "not all" who spoil it. Pink Floyd are still great though "Even though they are westies lol.

Must agree with you there. Bridlington is now full of druggies and sadly run down. Pink Floyd are a top band though.
