Wow! I remember growing up looking up to Carl. Then when I move about 30 miles away (not far at all, but enough to make it so that I didn't see several people much), I lost contact with Carl. It is so good to see that he is doing well and still the jolly man I remember him being. Now it makes sense why he was. ;-)

Ella, I met Carl at Orlando for the DBC event. I remembered he was telling me this story. He showed me pictures of a woman from Africa that he loves so much. He is a very inspiriting soul and full of life. He talks about you a lot and loves you so much. It was a honor to meet Carl also his smiles is one of the most powerful symbol of his.
