i STILL haven't seen the slightly later style of uprock with snips, cuts, face blocks & house moves etc. i remember on youtube yet. there were a few dozen "standard" moves that all had a meaning eg. "i just ripped your ear off" which you followed with a sniff of the ear.

i always liked uprock best because i was never able to master windmills etc.

a couple years ago, the ONLY uprock on youtube was that music video. glad to see the "lost" element of b-boying being represented finally.

Wow...seriously? If you grew up in that day and era, you would know what this type of dance this was. This was truly the hottest thing in the 70's which ultimatly led to most other forms of freestyle dance. TopRocking (born in Brooklyn) still lives to this very day. Look at all your B-Boys now? nice demo, this is buz's perspective from his neighborhood, there are many neighborhoods that danced like this, there are many dancers that have a breakdown also, this is Buz's example from bushwick bk, alot of other neighborhoods rocked at the same time so, just dont understand that this dance is NYC wide. his breakdown is his opinion, it is not the explanation of everything that is the Rock Dance.
