@nfslolz PS3 is not powerful enough to render good shadows on GT5. IN FM4 you can adjust your driving position. Yes, usually people in GT5 take fairly similar driving lines. And unfortunetaly, it seems like the AI on FM4 is stupid :S

dont get me wrong, im a gt5 fanboy, but gt5 claims to have 1000+ cars, however, most of these cars are crappy cars that you will probably never use like a toyota prius and honda civic. its a bit stupid how they hype it up and the actual cars are a let down.

Forza 4 might be an very good game, but where are the nightraces, weathereffects, courses in the city, fair online gameplay without dumb idiots. When i play GT online i feel like im playing with mature people, on Forza 4 i think i play against 10 year old kids. Forza is not to blame that a lot of their players are obviosly retarded.

I don't have GT5 or Forza 4, but I bet with a force feedback steering wheel GT5 wipes the floor with Forza 4. Graphics aren't everything, and Forza certainly looks more exciting and might be better if you're just playing with a controller. However there is nothing like playing a good racing game with a force feedback wheel. I don't know first hand, but given the excellent force feedback in GT4, I'd imagine GT5 is much better than that.

I have to say that i love both franchises. But forza 4 is a little disappointing. It's still a great game, but there's no improvements from the previous. No weather or night races, few new tracks and lighting still not than awesome. I put back gt 5 in my ps3 and arkham city in my 360. Gt5 has some unique moments like seeing the sun rise on le mans or the fog wich reflects on your dashboards lights in a cold rainy morning in the nurb.. Things like these make a huge difference for me..

Well...whatever any of you may say about each game, the engine sounds much better in Forza. Also being I D&B fan I much prefer the music is Forza. And though GT5 has more advanced lighting and more attention to detail, unlike Forza which is rock solid 60fps and v-syched, GT5 consistently drops frames and the screen tears horribly at times.

Its because they recorded the engine reving in nutral (with no force aplyed to the trans) at 4000 rpm and redline. Then degitaly sumulated the sound of acceleration with those exhaust tones.

I like both of the games... But I like more Gran Turismo 5 than any Forza 4, because of the driving part. Driving a car sounds much more realistic in GT than in FM. And the graphics, I like more Gran Turismo 5 graphics too, because in FM you see some "drawing like" structures on the cockpits. But I cannot deny that Forza Motorstport 4 is also a great racing game! I would like to play it, only because of the Autovista mode, Xbox360 owners should be proud of it, like the PS3 should be proud of GT5

In Forza you went on the grass there at the end and it didn't even looked like it matters, that looks arcadey to me cause if I did that in GT5 I would have spun out. Forza's track looks flatter, see in the beginning of GT5 there's a slight incline coming up to the turn? Also in the GT5 video that driver was using some heavy aids. In the challenge that car spins out REALLY EASILY, its one of the hardest challenges to get first in the whole game. I have GT5 and don't drive with aids on so I know.
