  • this is easy to make even though the coconut oil is pricey it made me appreciate little bits of chocolate delight even more! :)

  • I am not on the hcg diet, would the chocolate delights be a healthier option then reg chocolate?

  • are you serious? I'm craving chocolate...I'm on day 7 of HCG can i eat those now?

  • @ScubaPrincess11 YEP. Eat chocolate on P2!

  • awesome tips think you have got it refined now! Love the candy mold idea I have a couple from when I used to eat sugar. Thank you soo much!

  • Thanks ...these are great

  • Great video. Looks so yummie! Cayenne choco sounds interesting too. Thank you for sharing. Steve

  • you can use sweetened coconut milk? sweetened w/what? Is it stevia?

  • @2Ryled No sweetened coconut milk. I only use non sweetening and then I sweeten it myself with some Somersweet.

  • you said you eat this on phase 2 and you said you eat about 2-3 tabelespoons how do you measure that out?

  • @mitzi120 Each piece I make is about a tablespoon and I eat 2-3 pieces every day.

  • I'm on P2 ~ how many choco delights can you eat in one day?

  • @bridget641 On P2, I eat about 2-3 tablespoons a day.

  • Thanks so much for the tips! The sifting is KEY! I also use the Tropical Traditions, but haven't bought the gold label yet. I usually make my batch using 3 T of each at a time which is perfect to fit in my silicone ice tray. I have used the CD to great effect. I started with 1 piece, and am now on 5 pieces (although they are small), and never have had a gain while eating them. I add organic unsweeted coconut and a mac. nut, and they're great. I plan to try the cayenne idea soon!

  • I just started this diet. How can i get some of your recipes? Thanks.

  • what else is good in homemade chocolate is cayenne pepper. so yummy! also try cinnamon. please try and find organic cocoa, because hershey's is the worst possible grade of cocoa. search out some raw cacao, (un roasted coco) really good!

  • Hi all - delmem says these are ok on P2. This is my second round and I hope to lose 15 more (I've got 17 more days left - so I'm cutting it close). Has anyone done them according to Delmem's advice for P2?

  • how much stevia do you add and what kind of Cocoa do you use is it unsweetned Thank you.

  • @bridget641 I use unsweetened dark cocoa by Hershey. I use a LOT of sweetener but I've found that SomerSweet works better. Stevia has an aftertaste if you use too much.

  • AMAZING - I CANT WAIT TO TRY THIS!

  • I think your really good at this my first time seeing you I am new at ALL this Stacey my daughter law is helping me out , She looks great . I really love your hair style . Thank you for making it on here helps me out alot..'God bless you

  • Can I use coconut cream instead of coconut milk in this recipe? I had already purchased everything and was rewatching your video when I spotted the milk instead of cream. Thanks!

  • @Sunsetview6401 Sure! I experimented to get this, so you can too!

  • Thank you for this recipe!! I made it with my electric mixer and it came out fantastic!

  • how do you store your coconut oil, in the cabinet or the fridge. Curious, never used it before.

  • @shekie11 in the cupboard. But I store the ChocoD in the frig.

  • @shekie11

  • Are there a suggestion of the time to have coconut oil or chocolate delight in p2? mean before bed or any other time?

  • @kinderlover1 I'm learning not to eat anything just before bedtime. Otherwise, any time of day is fine.

  • @kinderlover1 BTW, I make these for P3, not P2

  • Can we have cholocate delight on Phase 2?

  • @MissloveableJenna I do, but some can't.

  • can we have sweetend coconut milk on p2

  • @LaShauna88 No, that's only for when you're in stabilization and maintenance.

  • I also found mini- muffin pans at WalMart...they are non stick and make ablut 2 dozen in one pan, and the pan was only $5bucks!

  • @chaligal Way cool. I'll have to check it out.

  • was wondering how much stevia?

  • @chaligal You will have to adjust the amount to taste since I use Somersweet in addition to stevia. The recipe including how much stevia is listed under the video.

  • ooh I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet but, I would add peppermint to the one with coconut milk like a york patty ummmm

  • @lizad777 LOVE that idea!

  • ooh I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet but, I would add peppermint to the one with coconut milk like a york patty ummmm

  • Where do you get summer sweet?

  • @Callyfatgone You can purchase somersweet at my website. The link is listed under the video in the summary.

  • @Callyfatgone You can purchase it from the link I include in the video description. It is really good.

  • Just made a batch of chocolate delight with your Somersweet and what a difference! It is so much better than any other stevia I have ever had. I am buying some more tonight for my Mom. Thanks Shannon! :)

  • Thanks for the tips Shannon! I look forward to making with your tips in P3!

  • Do you measure the coconut oil in its solid form or the liquid form?

  • @Snarolcarol Both. First in solid, but the final measurement is liquid.

  • I just love to watch your vlogs.. Your so talented !! :) now have you thought about that Mock Kentucky Fried Chicken sandwich yet? LOL ((hugs)) Enjoy !

  • @leeskalyn When I saw that chicken double down that KFC is doing, I was really intrigued. I read a review of it at livinglavidalowcarb's blog and she really didn't think it was all that. She did her own version and I thought, "yeah, that's what I'll do." But I have to wait til P3 because it's a lot of protein!

  • @shannonblogs did you see their vlog? its all about that.. I follow them .. This is the guy that ate eggs for a month.. lol.. lol funny huh.. I think it is a great idea, I would never buy one there... I am sure you can come up with something great!! I am along way from p3, so you have time ha ha.. You start soon again right?

  • @leeskalyn I JUST watched their vlog. And realized that they weren't the ones I was thinking of! The site was "The Lighter Side of Low Carb." She is the one who has done her own version that is lower sodium and looks more delicious. She is also on FB.

  • @shannonblogs livinlowcarbman is the youtube name.. I was thinking about the names here.. I am not sure if they are the one and the same or not.. but check it out..

  • I was just saying the other day that I was gonna try some chocolate delight to see what all the talk was about! Looks very tasty! Great video!

  • awesome vlog as usual! You didn't butcher my name ... you should hear some versions. The telemarketers are the worse! I really cut down on my cocoa and it really helps with the bitterness. Katie and I talked about how much you have to stir so the stevia don't settle on the bottom so I'll try and add to CO first. Love the mixing of the dark and reg cocoa. Great tips!

  • Oh my ... I'm definately using your tips on my next batch. I just have to find the molds. I didnt hear where you purchased them. Please tell me where you found them ... Thanks in Advance!

  • @jeannamilner I got the candy molds at Michaels. But just a couple of days ago I found some perfect little silicone molds at Sur Le Table!

  • LOVE the Choco-D... GOTTA try me some of these...question- you said you measure out the 2Cups of Coco Oil, but when liquid it looked like less than 1.5 cups... so how much cocoa total went into that? seems like should been 1C max, 1/2 each... I whisk already, but you added some great tips like sifting and coco milk... I love that !! THANK YOU!!!

  • @TheBubbagumpy Yes, the still photo was from the batch before this one. Sorry for any confusion. The ratio I use is 1 C coconut oil to 3/4 c cocoa.

  • Thanks for all the awesome recipes i had actually done some coco delight with cayenne it was yummy and then i see your video with all this other awesome tips thank again=)

  • Do you have a specific breakdown of the quantities of each ingredient? I've used the french vanilla stevia drops in mine but never thought about cutting back on the cocoa. I'm doing P2 now, and won't try this until P3 this time around, but I have a weakness for Chocolate, so this video is a great help to me! I'm adding it to my Favorites.

  • @GyroplaneFan Yes, the recipe is posted on my website. The link is above. Just click on the "weight" tab and scroll down to the recipes.

  • thanks for all the awesome tips! as for tip1 how much exactly do you cut back on the cocoa. originally i heard that you should do a 1:1 proportion of cocoa to coconut oil, what proportion do you do?

  • @HCGShrinkingWoman I've got the recipe posted at my website, but I cut back 1/4 of the cocoa. So, 1c coconut oil to 3/4 c. cocoa.

  • this video is like a rich man's chocolate delight...sifting...gold label coconut oil, i gotta do it again and add some milk to it, the ones i made were too dark and im not a fan of dark chocolate...i love the ending to this video hahah

  • You are too cute Shannon! How often do you eat chocolate delight while on P2?

  • @MeandHCG I eat chocoD almost every day.

  • Great vlog Shannon!

  • did you do the coconut cream on p2?

  • So with that large batch you made - how many times did you fill those molds!! I am not doing choco delight or mac nuts this round but I will on p3!!

  • @hawkcrew007 I filled the molds twice. I have enough for about 3 weeks now. I don't each but 2-4 a day.

@jesja7 YES. Coconut oil is proven to help the body release fat. I tested it on my first round and found I had bigger losses the next day after eating it.
