Sorry, but I don't quite get it... why is everybody picking on him for the rhythm?! It's called emphasising...?? No one would call a performance emotional if the piece was played like a metronome. And this IS a very emotional piece. So calm down and post a version you think is better of you playing. Seriously.... -.-

Wow this is terrible. Having a sad look on your face while playing piano doesn't make the piano sound that way. You know I think they have metronomes in music stores now.
Hey JSDytbe, You should search you tube for Maestro Paik Kun Woo Chopin. He plays it better than any pianist I have ever heard, in my opinion. Try singing out the 1st part of the melody and soften the 2nd note as to make is sigh, ala Bel Canto. Working on the turn and the stretto section should help you also.

I am teaching myself this piece, and this is the first recording i have found of it,...I will apply the advice you have given to jsdytbe
