Government causes the cost of healthcare in the Country to skyrocket by not allowing purchase across State lines, by forcing you to buy through your employer, by massive regulations, by setting rates for Medicare that are not realistic, and by many, many other means. Then we trust them to FIX the problem - no thanks - keep your hands off my health care and if you want to reform, how about ELIMINATING the restrictions on competition that you've used to drive up costs. Yea sounds great in theory "I'd rather get my own insurance" but it finding insurance you can afford, or a job that offers insurance is rare. If you were not on your parents insurance and you got injured you would be wishing then you had that insurance. I'm 29 and $15,000 in medical debt from losing my insurance is not something I thought I would be dealing with at 29 yrs. old.

The subtext of this video is that the affordable healthcare for america will kill people, i mean jobs. But is it true that since more people will receive healthcare that there will be more healthcare given out? If more healthcare is required, more people will be needed to provide healthcare.

In general, when supply rises, prices fall. More people will have affordable healthcare.

Politically appropriate, but misses the elephant in the room: theft of private property (money) is a violation of Individual Rights, ...even if the government does it. If the government does it because voters voted for it, then democracy becomes mob rule, Rights go out the window, and so does America. Obama has been killing our country. And now that %##%$%# is taking away more jobs in the mortgage industry! Due to this new regulation, banks will be flooded with business they can't handle. They can't handle the business they have now. More and more buyers will be denied by banks and the housing market will topple even more. The amount of foreclosures and short sales will soar even higher. Our nation will feel the effects of this for generations.

@Thomaslee3 I think you're missing the point. One of the supposed "benefits" of Obamacare is that "kids" can stay on their parents insurance until 26. I think this video is trying to show that that is not a benefit, but a fundamental flaw in how the government is trying to develop the next generation of American citizens.

Will this generation expect a free ride till 26, or will they be able to get a job and pay their own way?

The video doesn't make any sense. How would allowing young adults to stay on their parents' health insurance policy until they were 26 increase youth unemployment? If anything, wouldn't the cost of employing young adults go down as employers would no longer have to cover their health care insurance expenses? If we remove the burden of having employers pay these expenses, wouldn't we make it cheaper to hire young adults? Come on. This is basic math....

America needs affordable healthcare for all. Health care bill is a trade off for more premium payers paying to the insurance companies who in turn agree to accept more participants, which give the medical industry a greater certainty of getting paid. This will lower the cost of medical treatment overall, and stopping some awful practices of insurance companies and allows children to stay under their parents policy longer. The insurance companies sponsor the opposition; complain to them.
