  • jaja bien biligue y al final carnales sss chaleeeeeeeeee

  • I love Roberts voice!!! He has such a lovely soft voice. I HATE the interviewers laugh!!! It's VERY annoying!!!

  • stop LAUGHING!!!!

  • i wanna be his best friend. hes the coolest.

  • i love the questions that the interviewer asked robert they aint really professional they are just down to earth friendly questions

  • his laugh makes me want to puke

  • Haha Billy Corgan reference.

  • as a human being I find him more likable then Morrissey

  • I really liked this interview, the way he talked about music industry, the media, the album, his childhood and Mary :)

I remember I was watching that interview when I was 13 and I was crying because nobody took me to that concert in Monterrey XD I just watched it on telly (so depressing). I wish they come back some day, I truly love The Cure and Mr. Robert Smith.

  • a shallow person would look at robert and 1st impression would be he is a freak bc of his image. its just theatrics. listen to the integrity he has and how well spoken. he is so insightful and makes for a very interesting person to interview. I would love to have some drinks with him and have a conversation.

  • Consently, let down by people, liKe BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. Who would had voted for a man named Hussein!

  • Enjoy it XD

  • robert smith...you're the man! I've just welled up knowing somebody else (especially someobyd as frickin cool as you) sings along his own words and looses himself to mogwai! Thanku!

  • God how i hate that telehit fucker

  • God, what a smart, beautiful, talented man.

I want to be Robert Smith when I grow up.

  • I love how he does his makeup. I can really see clearly how he does it in this video. Robert is the best.

  • looking like a lil bitch brea

  • stop that irritating laugh u cunt!

  • I bet Robert was blown away to hear Blair converted to the first Christian Church established by JC.

  • Robert is so cool in this interview which is made clear by how he handles this completely idiotic interviewer. What is he [theinterviewer] laughing about? I think Robert was very kind to him by trying to take him seriously. What a total sweetheart!

  • @caitlinniamh wouldn't you be nervous in his place?

  • I appreciated the Nightmare Before Christmas part. lol. I love Nightmare, The Cure AND The Smashing Pumpkins so that was cool.

  • I just wonder if this guy really understands what Robert is saying. At 2:02 after talking about trust being abused and being lied and let down by politicians and people he ends with "that's human nature"... and the interview just laughs!! Ermmm so what was the joke?

  • Jesus Christ, who translated this? At 3:50 the guy asks "if you could go back in time and see yourself during the time of 3 imaginary boys"... and the translation reads "if you could go back in time and see yourself as a little kid".

  • One of the best interviews.

  • Robert Smith deberia viajar a Peru

Tony Blair? Confianza? cagarla y luego no ser perdonado? 2 palabras: Alan Garcia

  • This interview is really wonderful and the credit actually goes to the interviewer. Robert talks with a lot of wisdom and understanding.

Thank-you for uploading the interviews in two parts.

  • I love Robert Smith. Wow. I have like, no words to explain how great that was. He's hilarious, obviously brilliant, and quiet cute! I actually really like that album too. It isn't the best, but it's a good one! Thank you for this! Robert, i freaking love you

  • I want to be that director.

btw i love how the interviewer goes high pitched at the end and says "CARNALES" hahahah so mexican, and i mean that in a fantastic way, love mexico city, people are amazing.

  • This is one of the best interviews I have seen with Robert Smith...something a little different, more about the man instead of the music.

  • I LOVE U ROBERT SMITH!!

thanks for give to the world a little of light that comes from your soul!!

  • ha, good point, but yes the world is and will forver be, but that doesnt mean yu cant say or do what at the moment seems right.

  • All hail Pearl Harbour or the USA as you mention it, would never have been in the war.

  • wow I never knew that he was such a nice person. As a teen I really enjoyed the cure but thought they weren't very attractive, now I've got a bit of a crush on Robert. :D

  • just want to make it clear that the fact that they weren't so attractive to my teen eyes didnt stop me from enjoying their music.

  • I love listening to him speak (as well as singing of course). He is just brilliant!

  • He's very intellegent.

  • Me encantó al entrevista!!

    Muy buenas preguntas :D!!

    genial todo.

Amaría poder conversar así con Robert :)

  • What a shithead on the right.

  • he ain't 50 yet

  • he's more darker then he was back in the years

  • y does he get interviewed by so many hispanic/latino people?

    lol

he must really like em or something.

    he goes to mexico alot

  • its weird

also the pope and metallica loved mexico

  • he goes to mexico a lot , because he doesn't know any better period.

  • Well whats wrong with that anyway ?

  • um

i never said there was anything wrong with that

  • well it just sounded like you had a prob , guess not.

  • The Cure is popular all over the world. Music is the universal language, yo.

  • u got that right! :D

  • The interviewer's laugh is distracting and annoying. It seems that a couple of times Robert is even bothered by it.

Other than that, it's a great interview with Robert Smith.

  • That interviewer seems like a sodding idiot to me.. laughs like a fucking sheep and only asks simplistic questions. Of course, interviewing Robert, the answers are interesting, but god.. I'd get really aggravated if only asked questions like "what is your biggest/favorite/etc"!

  • of course he's a dumbass, he's fucking mexican. Mexicna sthink that the cure only loves going to mexico. Pathetic losers

  • Robert is amazing. His interviews are so exciting to watch and to listen to him speak is simply the best. He is such a normal person and its so awesome to listen to how he feels and what he has to say about anything and everything.....he is simply MAGIC!! CAN'T WAIT TIL JUNE IN NYC AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN & RADIO CITY!!!! LOVE YOU ROBERT!!!!

  • totally agree with you my man!

    ;)

  • Around the time of a new album and/or tour Robert does tons of interviews. Bottom line is the Mexican dude was just doing the best that he can and being himself. Robert gave him a professional courtesy and was just simply being nice to the guy....and providing an insight on himself to his fans in Mexico who were watching.

  • Claudio fue gran entrevistador

  • personal great interview

not only touch the personal also the music

i know better Robert now! gracias

  • he has such an amazing brain

  • HE LIKES TIM BURTON!! Wooo!! :D

  • I liked the way he said "Enjoy It"

  • It's like the Mexican version of The Chris Farley Show! But, I like this due, he's doing the best he can and the questions are refreshing and RS goes along with it all with class. In regards to the interviewer, he's just being himself, and that's all you can be, and I think that's cool.....

  • I agree, but it's still kind of strange that Robert Smith chose to do an interview conducted by this guy (I read in another post that Smith doesn't do many interviews), cause he's not quite spot on if you don't mind my saying. His reactions are weird at times, as if his english is not good enough to fully comprehend Smith's answers. Anyway, we still get interesting answers so I'm not complaining.

  • I remember this interview... the interviewer's laugh is SO annoying! Still, a rare moment of Robert Smith letting it all out, something I haven't seen in other interviews (perhaps due to the ingenuity of the interviewer himself). There's something about Mexican fans and The Cure... they are just crazy about them and R. Smith!! I know I am... is it a cultural thing?

  • yes it is my friend,,,,

  • carnales jajajajaja

  • Thank-you very much for this drewsboo! The comments that Robert expressed echo my own views on music, downloading of songs and politics.

  • many thanks for share this
