Braindrill just gorges on useless over saturation of sweeps, while Malignancy compose amazingly structured songs keeping everything in balance. That's what defines talents. Not having the fastest blasts, or 19 sweeps per riff. Thats just for deathcore kids who think they play death metal. Writing a powerful and brutal song is what takes talent.

If you want to argue about album slaes then the issue is marketing and not music. Slipknot has better marketing since they are on a bigger label. Plus their music is good for angsty teenagers. This is who their music is marketed towards as this demographic has more disposable income. Plus their label can get them better promo deals and radio play. In the music business, sales are due to business and not necessarily music.
