My strategy is to secure nearby mass extracting points, 3 energy generators, and then a blockade of air, and land defense, and 2 research stations, I first research those stars on the bottom for structures, make the cost go down, damage go up, and build time decrease, while simultaneously building a blockade of air, and land defenses.

In the campaign for thew console version, it's 250 unit cap, online, or in skirmish matches, it goes down to fricken 200 -.-

I once saw a easy ai beat a cheating ai what i did was have me and a friend on a ffa map with 1 cheating ai and 3 easy ai it was on the round map with the round pool in the middle. I put me and my friend next to each other so we could work together. While we were massing for a attack the cheating ai moved all his units out and went to attack an easy ai while he went to attack another easy ai send his troops to the cheating ai and with no defences the cheating ai got owned i was like wow

I don't know what's wrong with me... a month ago, hard was easy for me, and I was also frequently beating the cheating AI, where as after a month of a break, I can only last a small amount of time on hard -_-

A - rust comes with time. No where is this more clear than in online play of Starcraft 2.

B - I believe they patched the AI. I'm not sure when it happened but the AI is supposed to be tougher now.

Eventually I rememered how to play. Now Cheating AI is moderately easy for me. There are some games that I can never recover from a break...

what really pisses me of about AI, they do know a limit to their air units, the AI screw themselves over because once you get a small army over there, they got no ground units or defenses to stop you from raping them.

cybrans is proubly the best faction, but if you want a strong land force uef is better, and if you like impenetrable defenses the illuminat is the best.

i don't know the demo version but the original game start with atomic bombs in 20 minutes after some sperimentals and in NORMAL level

@electroman774 No they did not remove it, it works for ever class, you do it by selecting an engineer and right clicking on the factory.

@theeking247 They build units amazingly fast, within 3 minutes of the game starting you can find 20 basic tanks half upgraded knocking on your front door. after 8 minutes you get mid level experimental units crushing your front door into dust.

I have a friend that can beat 3 cheating AI's on the xbox 360 it takes him 2 hrs to do it though. I tried it myself, very hard.

@Gothnic345 yeah, this video was made shortly after the game was released, the AI was just plain stupid in most cases. I heard that they really improved on the AI, haven't tried it though unfortunately, too busy playing other games :(

Just like other people said.... an cheating AI attacks me like 10x as hard as i just saw here. yet it is an awesome video =) strategy for beating AI's.... dont ask me but i can give a hint once you find out who they attack.... they always go for that person put that person in the back :P they always aim for nuke silos first! put a strong defense around it and you rape their strongest army force against AI point defenses are very effective against others in multiplayer... Dont even try it XD!

yeah make an infinate war match with a cheating AI on your team VS two other cheating AI's "to learn your enemy" of what in guess they probally get triple rate increase or more on things like research, mass and energy and the cheating AI can see all of the map like there was no fog of war

To make the patrols for my fighter jets, I lclicked the factory, right clicked somewhere for the rally point (where the produced units will gather), clicked on the "patrol" button, then while holding shift, right clicked a few points to make the patrol. Now every unit produced from that factory will go to the rally point, then follow the patrol route on its own, so you can spend your time concentrating on other things. I highly recommend using "shift"

To bad the AI of Supreme Commander is very very predictible... Hard isnt realy hard i think cheating should be hard xD if you know the playstyle off cheating its verry sipmle... just build 4 mass extractors 2 energy generators 2 AA 2 point def... then turtle away and win xD

nice gameplay and great video.

I follow a different strategy (turtle) and you should give a try:

1) try unlocking shield structures and mass converter (i think that's the name, plz excuse me if i am making a mistake here) all found in the structure research menu

2) build mass converters and turn your energy to mass! (infinite resources out of nowhere xD)

then do your own things as this game is not a recipe but this 2 steps helped me a lot

could it be that the wave getting heavier the longer the games on? and I was suprised that the AI don't use his noah after the 10th time

One wonderful tactic with UEF is spam a ton of research stations and upgrade them with AA and Land Defenses and use that as a frontline defense backedup with shields.

What version of cheating AI was it? "Turtle" (whatever it means, if some1 know -> tell me pls) or the normal one?

Because I used the normal cheating AI and there was 10 times (!!) more air spam (mainly gunships) than in this video...

It's the normal cheating AI. Turtle means that the AI won't attack as much and just build defenses, but they usually rape me with nukes.

I mentioned in the video that they spam you with air early on. I got lucky this round and was able to build up a defense before I was overwhelmed me. I was shocked as to why the AI wasn't attacking me as hard as usual, and thought he was using his resources to build nukes, so that's why i built the nuke defense silo. Turns out the AI was just being stupid.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. Right now I'm trying to find a way to beat Finns Revenge against a cheating AI opponent, so far with no luck
