What is a decent price to pay for a canned ham in this condition? I have been wanting one for sometime now, and am looking to buy one to restore. Is around $600 reasonable, or too high? I'm in So. Cal.
@cffnmkr13 I paid $150 for this trailer. I have never paid more than $300 for one that needs paneling replaced. If there is water damage they are not worth more than that. If there is no water damage they can be worth up to $6k and more!
I am really excited about this, this is going to be fun and educational. I love stuff like this. I'm really glad you decided to share this restoration with us. Oh my gosh I just thought of something " I hope I don't get attached to this trailer" lol.
Just about my whole adult life I've always have had a truck or van, ( v-8's ) I wouldn't want to pull it with my 4 banger. I would like a matching teardrop though, that would be sharp. What's fun about them is the challenge of making the most with the space you have. I've seen some pretty creative kitchens in those teardrops. That would be my favorite project to do.
That's the perfect idea for todays economy. And you spend most of your time outdoors anyways. They do have some very creative kitchens and I saw one with a 32 inch HD TV in the back on Ebay last week LOL... Right behind the cooktop.
You aren't going to believe this but YES! At least that is what it looks like... There is a club with hundreds of members and they all paint scenes on the outside of their trailers. I'll find some photos for you.
