@MrVaticanAssasin dude, smells like teen spirit is the song people bring up so they can be in on the Nirvana conversations so it seems like they actually know something when really they look like an idiot.
"This is a home made video of Milk It which I made under the influence of depression and legal but ineffective antidepressive drugs. Kurt Cobain was a great musician. Thank You For Watching." Pain is its own antidote, which is why this music is so great. Nirvana is the greatest legal antidepressant.
This song is too perfect and just awesomely great! My fav Nirvana song by far. 0:14 - 0:34 really gets me and sets the tone so perfectly for the rest of the song.
I think I've developed an OCD for this song i play it in the car turned up full blast when i get in and right before i get out. I'm tryin to play it on guitar too, hopefully i can at least learn the main power chord chorus riff, hopefully. reminds me of mayhem and darkthrone, doesn't sound like them, but the image of mayhem and darkthrone are comes to mind
@MansonNiles11 Buzz is full of shit. This sounds nothing like the song it supposedly ripped off of. Kurt wasn't even very into Melvins any more at this point.
@jacktheripper775 sorry dude, but the Melvins song is in same key, same notes, even tempo. Kurt said a months before he died that "The Melvins are the past, present and future of music." so I'm thinking this song is a ripoff and he worshipped Buzz's style. He even admits a lot of it.
@MansonNiles11 ooooh, sounds fun. wish i had a dog, though. Come on, I'm serious, do it, I will give you one whole week to kill the first thing I love most. That's a whole week now, so wish you the best and hope you succeed
HEY! people who like nirvana but none of the other amazing music that lead up to grunge, or even any of the other grunge bands, LISTEN TO:
touch me i'm sick by mudhoney
never understand by the jesus and marry chain
sometimes by my bloody valentine
gouge away by the pixies
all of the corresponding albums are amazing as well. i use to get angry at other young people who never look into any bands from the mid 80's to the early 90's other than nirvana. now i'm trying a new approach.
“Milk It” Of course I like this song! Of course I like it because it’s a total, TOTAL rip off of a song I wrote called “It’s Shoved.” It’s on our Bullhead record which I think came out in ’91… Listen to both back to back and then tell me if I’m crazy.. Well, I am crazy, but not because of THIS song. - Buzz Osbourne
@PivotMakeranimations I was listening to Melvins before I listened to Nirvana. Though it's true I may never have heard of them without Cobain's influence.
This is a home made video of Milk It which I made under the influence of depression and legal but ineffective antidepressive drugs. Kurt Cobain was a great musician. Thank You For Watching........
Kurt Cobain was honest and didn't like to fake feelings, which is a truthful quality. If you are a truth seeker, search "Truth Contest" in Google and click on the 1st result, then open The Present and read what it says. This book will turn this world right-side up if it reaches enough people.
i like the comments here, i bet Kurt would like them too. respect to eachother, positive comments, no dumb jokes about dislike bar, no sign of a certain modern celebrity being mentioned (you'd guess it easily, it's so obvious just please dont say his name) love you guys for that, wish more comments would be like these here.
I 100% agree. There is something magical about feeling above it all, whether it is an illusion or not is something I think Cobain probably struggled with himself, but what is so amazing about it is that he wasn't afraid to reject the bullshit, take a step back and make himself something society isn't okay with just to spite it because it made him feel good. I think that's just fuckin brilliant. He is an eternal teenager.
In Utero was the best. The way people treated it at its release was horrible. This was the first nirvana. Raw powerful experimental. Listening to this you have to wonder what else could have come.
This song illustrates the genius, blow-out, all out madness that was cobain and nirvana. It couldn't last at this pace but that's why their music stands immortal long after others have been buried in the landfill.
when Cobain was growing up, he told everybody that he planned on joining the 27 Club, which is the club of musicians who all happened to die at the young age of 27. so we can all clearly see that he had been planning his death from an early age. for proof just listen to the chorus of this song. he says, "look on the bright side, SUICIDE."
I'm 31 now, and i've heard about Kurt Cobain's death on the 7th of april 1994, it was my 14th birthday... I was very sad, cause i've never liked any kind of music or any band before Nirvana. Now i play guitar and i think about the 90's each time i grab it.

@turnoutthelights6 I watched this video because I like the drums. Why do you act like you're so offended and hurt? Grow up and get off these people's nuts. You're too soft and easily shaken for this world, my friend...
The main reason for my comment in the first place is that I'm just sick and tired of seeing so many people idolize this guy, making tribute videos with his pictures, like some sort of hetero romance. It's nauseating...
- I forgive you for your "pathetic" comment, my simple friend
Whether you idolize him or not, he has helped a lot of people, including me, through horrible bouts of depression. And I was born a few months before he died. I did not live in his era, I didn't grow up with his music while it was becoming popular, and I don't listen to him just because I think he is the best musician (for me).
It's fine if you don't like him, but don't trample his fans because they love him. And they do love him.
-I was in junior high when Nirvana come out. Heavy Metal bands such as Guns and Roses were feeling threatned by Kurt. I thimk probably because Axel Rose knew that they were over because Nirvana was opening the door for my generation. When your a teenager you have alot of raging emotions. NIRVANA let us get out our frustration, anger, and depression. We rocked out to NIRVANA and the grunge bands!!! It was FKIN awesome!!! I really feel bad for kids teenagers these days, because they have NO IDEA
@TheAnalyticalFailure I haven't come to troll or be a dick, but I'm just asking out of interest. How can a man who commited sucide help you through rough times? (I like nirvana as a band but I'm not into the whole personal connection thing)
I can't really speak for anybody else but I think that the fact that he did that shows how much pain he was and his mental state and problems, and knowing that along with the emotion of his music just kind of lets me know and feel that somebody else out there has felt pain and has fought it. He fought it, even though he lost, and his music is just from the soul.
I'm not saying I wouldn't like his music or feel a connection if he was live, I really wish he were alive.
Well this is a pretty mellow son- WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED

@TheAnalyticalFailure I haven't come to troll or be a dick, but I'm just asking out of interest. How can a man who commited sucide help you through rough times? (I like nirvana as a band but I'm not into the whole personal connection thing)

@ranmore30

Let me guess... the ineffective anti-depressant you are taking about is Zoloft/sertraline?
