Re the money: religion is big biz with no real product, reliant on the suckers who support them. I especially hate seeing poor people with kids to feed giving money to the wealthy con artists in the name o'gawd. I hates some of these preachers.

@MrHeath13 Hmmm, not familiar with black truffle. I just got a care package from a very kind PSF member with an incredible selection of samples, mostly stuff I've not yet tried. So, I start the morning faced with very important decisions like which baccy to start my day. I like strong tobacco and this care box is full of strong. 10 ruskies, brown bogie, even some Tambo which is supposedly the strongest bacco in the world.

We shall see. :)

@tenagliac My southern Baptist parents pretended that the wine Jesus drank wasn't alcoholic. Which never explained why the Pharisees called him a glutton and a drunkard or why people thought the disciples were drunk on wine at Pentecost. That is, if the wine they drank "back then' wasn't alcoholic. :):):)

@Skepticktok For me the racism of the Southern Baptists, our denomination, was one of the starting points. Not only condoning slavery but telling slaves to love their masters and not rebel. Even as a child I saw the hand of the priesthood in that stuff. And home grown human ugliness in the Southern Baptist position.

Christians ignore their own god if his commandments don't fit in with their lifstyle and still have the balls to chastise others. What a bunch of hypocrites.
