GT5 sucked (if we think of its development time). Here are the reason:

1) XP/Leveling System (WTF was that? It is a driving sim. Lvl instead of licenses to unlock events)

2) Licenses are decorative only (WTF? x2)

3) Endurances unlock in the end (WTF? x1000)

4) B-Spec has its own events which led to reducing (DRAMATICALY) the number of A-Spec events (WTF were they thinking of creating B-Spec at ALL)

GT5 had such a long development time and I did really expect more from the game.

Overall the game is solid,but still lacks a lot and it kinda just doesn't feel like the old GT games.

Lets hope for a better GT6 back to the roots edition.

everybody's complaining how shitty the graphics look sometimes,but as far as i can sse the whole package WORKS,and it does really fine,smoooth as hell and the music is freakin awesome,well that's what i know from japanese music writers.....it's .......it's insane when compaired with other games.

And i heard that people think this is not a simulator,well, there are so many settings and adjustments and stuff you can do and it's fun!

Just by reading these comments, it shows that alot of you don't really know what Gran Turismo is really about. Let's not forget this is a SIMULATOR, not "the best graphics game" or "the most cars game". JC, The game is built so that it is suited for you to feel as though you're actually racing. Posting comments saying that the graphics may look shitty or that there are'nt enough cars or even what system it's on really shows that persons maturity level, and this is coming from a 14 yo.

-Cars that you buy for hundreds of thousands of credits that cannot be sold- WTF???

-Getting a "penalty" for hitting a wall in rally races- did it ever occur to these people that hitting a wall is, in itself, a penalty? Do they realize that it automatically slows you down? I don't need someone to kick me after I trip and break my neck.

-Tires that wear out after 3 laps, while your opponents tires magically DON'T

-Last but not least, how about the fact that opponent's cars can run you off the road, but smack the hell out of them and watch them barely budge.

hello, I got a major problem with my GT5. yesterday i went online on my ps3 to download a new update to GT5. But now when i try to play the game i cant, becuase the ps3 want me to free up some space. At least 32 MB required. I got like 2 games installeed on my PS3 wich not takes up so much space. I can play the other games but not GT5 by that reason.

Can anybody help me?

@Qwertey16 i think you  might have all your games save to your hard drive and you must have ran out of space i had the same problem when i had the original 60 gb ps3 before packed in so i got the 320 gb ps3 slim i think you might have to delete some of your games then gt5 will pick up as long you have finished some game just delete it and should give you the space to play gt5 unless you if are going to upgrade the hardrive it would be worth it in the long run

@bigben1731 well if you do have online on i dont have my ps3 connected up to the net all but i own alot of ps3 games and when i run out of space it would show up onthe right screen as you load the ps3 up man how many space it shows so what i do do i deleted some games and give me the space to play the game to turn the ps3 off and shut it down and reboot the system and it should show some writing on the right screen hope thats help man

In my opinion, Gran turismo in general, is the best DRIVING SIMULATOR series ever made...Forza motorpost was good, but Gran turismo by far greatest driving simulator ever made, incredibly realistic graphics for its era, realistic physics, and real life location details make it best driving game for car drivers of all ages, only way to describe this is near perfect...

(I said driving simulator, not driving game, son nfs fans not affected >.>)

In GT5 A-spec mode there are races that only allow certain cars to race, what I want to know is, do I need to buy a different car for those races or is there another cheaper way, because earning credits to buy all those cars takes a long time.

Yes, you would have to buy new cars for these races. Some of these cars for certain races, like the "Pickup Truck" race, are not easy to obtain. You might not find them in Dealerships, but maybe in used cars. It is better to research the challenges and buy a car that qualifies for various races. It didn't take long for me to earn alot of money, I recently bought the fastest Lamborghini. Win 1st prize, and special event, you get more money...

The classic Ferrari '76 is a good car, it qualifies as classic, European, Italian, Classic European/Italian, MR (I think), and Ferrari challenges. If you buy it, tune it so that it accelerates to it's top speed fast, mine is about 150 more or less (which could be as far as it goes). If you're a good driver, you can win a few good races AND earn plenty of credits.
