@crimsonrush actually the complete opposite, children who work hard enough and are talented enough to get into the school are not taught to be stars they are set up for life and taught to be successful individual people and the music tht comes out of brit school is generally indie, they are not setup for fame and theyre not brats because its free and most parents will only support theyre children in the school because the gcse results are outstanding.

no you don't, i just got accepted into brit school and i'm outside catchment range but it is harder to get in cuz they only accept 10% of people outside catchment so you gota really show that you're dedicated and sturff.

u can't do that because they won't let ya, i suggest just starting year 12 there straight away.

u need to chase them up within the next few days because the dead line for applications may all ready gone.

i started in year 12 and it's cool u can always do an A level on top or two AS'

No i havn't left i just started this september, i'm in theater. judging by your comment i'm guessing you'd want to go into Theater, Musical Theater or Dance.

It's obviously not guaranteed that you'll be straight into the west end after you've finished your two years there but it is a starting point. unless you were going to pay and go to a stage school then Brit is the best place to start as the courses are free. oh yeah and u get to be in fairly big performances during your course. xx

I'm with xXGoblinPrincessXx!! I'm in year 10, soon to be year 11 in the Visual Arts & Design Strand. I don't get why people are posting stupid put- down comments about the school. It's an amazing place which really encourages students in all aspects of their chosen area of performing arts. It's not some fame academy like some people might think.

Everyone there had their own individuality, we're not moulded in a certain way.
