The samething happened to me in 94. It was the first game I had ever played and Patrick Roy tied the game for me with 2 seconds left. My buddy, who owned the system, said he had never seen that before. It was odd because there was a scrum around the Habs net and all of a sudden Roy takes a Ron Hextal style swing and the puck flew much faster than the regular game was played at. My buddy almost fell off the bed.

Nice shot, brolis24andrew! I think the odds of doing that in that game are just about impossible. I did score a goal with Patrick Roy and Sean Burke (my favorite goaltender) in NHL 97 for the Sega Genesis, but it's easier to do so in that game I believe, since the goaltenders are able to launch the puck up the ice much more quickly when pressing the A button. In the original hockey games, I believe that the goalies could only pass the puck by pressing B.
