The justification presented in the video for smuggling weapons in the tunnels was false logic.
it was an "If A, than B" scenario, with A being smuggling weapons, than B being bombing. No smuggling weapons, than no need for defence, because no bombing... Anyways it is important to make sure not to make illogical statements when arguing a point if wanting to appear credible.

This guy seems very reasonable. The question may not be "who broke the ceasefire?" though. I think the question boils down to whether or not Hamas, which rules Gaza, will ever live alongside Israel in peace. The answer, according to Hamas is no. READ their charter. So, if that is the case, them arming themselves for whatever reason is seen as a threat by Israel. Cycle of violence. Simple question - if Israel laid down their arms would there be an Israel?
Big difference is Israel doesn't say we're going to destroy all the Palestinians in the world. Israel despite everything wants peace, whereas Hamas just wants Israel dead. Also, the Palestinians do want peace. Hamas does not. Israel has attempted to to push peace contracts, Hamas has not. And I really have to emphasize again that it is not appropriate for Israel to stay silent in the face of attacks, especially with enemies that have explicitly stated that no action will stop the attacks.
With the West Bank: Israel cannot make offers that allow large Israeli areas to go to the West Bank. It would displace those people: Abbas said that no Jews would live in the WB
Another thing to keep in mind is that Israel aims its weapons to minimize civilian casualties. This is made difficult by the fact that Hamas uses human shields, and hides in crowded civilian areas. Hamas, on the other hand, does not aim their rockets, nor do they wish to. They are terrorists, and terror is best done when its towards civilians.
As I've shown in my comments on other videos, it is incorrect to suggest that Israel prefers the violent option. If this were the case, the entirety of Gaza would be destroyed right now. And you have to remember that Hamas' claims of self-defense are not justified. They are the aggressors, Israel has responded appropriately. You do not allow rockets to come into your country, even if they do less damage than outgoing rockets might.
The problem with your analysis of the tunnel is that you operate on the assumption that Hamas wouldn't attack Israel if it had a free flow of weapons. The blockade is in place because we know this isn't the case. The existence of weapons does not necessitate violence. The existence of weapons whose stated purpose is to be used to attack you, and which have attacked you before does necessitate violence.
Your argument is stupid because it was a matter of time before Hamas or one of the other groups in Gaza would have used those weapons. Whereas America's enemies are not using their weapons on America. You are biased.

it was an "If A, than B" scenario, with A being smuggling weapons, than B being bombing. No smuggling weapons, than no need for defence, because no bombing... Anyways it is important to make sure not to make illogical statements when arguing a point if wanting to appear credible.

This guy seems very reasonable. The question may not be "who broke the ceasefire?" though. I think the question boils down to whether or not Hamas, which rules Gaza, will ever live alongside Israel in peace. The answer, according to Hamas is no. READ their charter. So, if that is the case, them arming themselves for whatever reason is seen as a threat by Israel. Cycle of violence. Simple question - if Israel laid down their arms would there be an Israel?

@SolGios There you go again, not doing your home work. In 1947 the British territory once called Palestine, a name given by Romans in 70AD after they destroyed Jerusalem and banished all Jews. Palestine was to be transfered to the Jews in order to give back their historical homeland and once and for all create a safe haven for Jews.
In 1948 Ben-Gurion requested Arabs to stay put and help the Jews build a national homeland. Two million Arabs chose to become Israeli citizens. The rest did not.

Israel creates that which it claims to fear. In fact, it knows exactly what it's doing. It is creating the justifiable killing of innocent people and keeping their own in fear and going along with what they do. It isn't that unlike what the US does with its own citizens. And btw, I actually was in Gaza, and you have no idea how creative the people there... e.g. "dead" child on a stretcher brought by a hundred people, all crying... And suddenly this "dead" kid falls from the stretcher, and by himself jumps back... Somehow this is cut from the news though :/

Also, the Palestinians do want peace. Hamas does not. Israel has attempted to to push peace contracts, Hamas has not. And I really have to emphasize again that it is not appropriate for Israel to stay silent in the face of attacks, especially with enemies that have explicitly stated that no action will stop the attacks.
With the West Bank: Israel cannot make offers that allow large Israeli areas to go to the West Bank. It would displace those people: Abbas said that no Jews would live in the WB

Another thing to keep in mind is that Israel aims its weapons to minimize civilian casualties. This is made difficult by the fact that Hamas uses human shields, and hides in crowded civilian areas. Hamas, on the other hand, does not aim their rockets, nor do they wish to. They are terrorists, and terror is best done when its towards civilians.

As I've shown in my comments on other videos, it is incorrect to suggest that Israel prefers the violent option. If this were the case, the entirety of Gaza would be destroyed right now. And you have to remember that Hamas' claims of self-defense are not justified. They are the aggressors, Israel has responded appropriately. You do not allow rockets to come into your country, even if they do less damage than outgoing rockets might.

The problem with your analysis of the tunnel is that you operate on the assumption that Hamas wouldn't attack Israel if it had a free flow of weapons. The blockade is in place because we know this isn't the case. The existence of weapons does not necessitate violence. The existence of weapons whose stated purpose is to be used to attack you, and which have attacked you before does necessitate violence.

In fact, they elected Hamas because the alternative was so corrupt!
