Part of showing the correct exercise is to include all elements-hard work and the right form. It's like wakling and chewing gum, can be done together with no problem if you're serious.
He sure isn't using alot of weight, it's not at all the best overall bicep exercise. Exercises like these concentrate primarly on the brachialis (cause your elbows are fixed on a declining surface), if you wanna do a complete bicep workout (meaning the bicep brachii and brachialis together) then you're better of with a simple barbell curl.
