i love this! i really wanna learn how to do all this kinda stuff it's so interesting.. how long did it take you to make!? because it looks like a lot of time went into it.
Its a very powerful video i agree and i must say that your video suits it best from what ive seen on here but i think that maybe adding some more concepts into it, like your traffic/cars was good, some other ones like that would have made the cherry on top of the cake for me. Very good anyway!
this was really amazing and i loved all the effects and the shots to had were just pure excellence! I love your vid and you picked the perfect song for this!
Your video skills here are much better even then say some one like saftey steve Yet you for some reason have only just over 500 views. And he is getting like 37,000 on his. What is wrong with taste in the world why are you not getting the views you deserve!
My camera for this one was a Canon MV800i MiniDV Handycam which did the job nicely. I didn't rig up any lights of my own - just lazily embraced the power of the sun =)
Film a subject for about half an hour, then capture that footage onto the computer. In editing, you can speed up the footage to play at, say, 10x its normal speed so it lapses time.
Ya-huh. They're tricky to come by tho. I'd imagine only high-end commercial cameras would have filmspeed alteration capabilities. The only other alternative I could think of would be to get a camera that has still photo taking and take a photo/frame every minute or so...
you do know its hard to become a director it takes years to become one as you have to work your way up the positions in filming userly starting out as a reasearch assistant working your way to a director but there are so many paths to take that it is so unpredictable on how quickly you could become a director but im sure if your keen enoth you'll get there in the end
Yeah well this was my 2nd major project for year 12 video production. I basically dragged josh around town with me for a couple of days and shot everything that moved (or didn't move) lol.
this video is just great!

What version of the song is this? The version off the Street Spirit EP is different, with slightly different drums and stuff.

i know that, but if were to have a longer time lapse, like a full day. wouldn't i need a time lapse camera?
