Is there a DVD or BluRay version that has English subtitles, or did you add the subtitles on your own?

These subtitles from DVD. It was DVD release including some documentaries films about war: Battle for Moscow, Battle for Berlin and Ordinary Fascism. All of them with English subtitles though, I'd like to say, the subtitles were made not very good - I mean the part of subtitle doesn't meet requirements of Subtitling Standards... ;)

@PyccoTypucmo Вы не могли бы помочь найти этот ДВД? Я искала по интернету, но пока безрезультатно. Какой там написан АСИН (ASIN) номер? Я бы очень хотела этот фильм показать студентам, а им без субтитров не понять.

Я скачивал с rutracker(точка)org. Там на одной из раздач лежит этот полноценный двухслойный DVD. К сожалению, YouTube не позволяет публиковать в сообщениях прямые ссылки, но если вы на этом сайте зарегистрированы, то найдёте этот релиз без проблем.

Есть ещё вариант - это скачать отдельно avi-файлы и файлы субтитров. Качество картинки будет немного хуже, но не на столько, чтобы был "караул" :))) Так что выбирайте.

Да, забыл ещё раз сказать, что субтитры на этом диске немного действительно не соответствуют стандарту. Не смотря на то, что сделаны очень хорошо, в плане наглядности (курсив, текст в кавычках и т.п.), но трех-строчных и четырёх-строчных субтитров не может быть просто по определению, а их на этом диске полно. Но если это шибко не мешает и не раздражает, то смотреть можно. ;)

That's interesting. I never knew there was so much individuality in the USSR or other Eastern-Bloc countries at that point. Call me stupid but I though they were just like the Third Reich where people were mindless robots who blindly followed theirgovernment but that doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks for posting this :)

@AUmapathi1 yeah. one thing that people dont realise is that there was more individuality in the USSR than in many western countries. next time you see somebody speak of how communism is like fascism, and that the soviet people were super-oppressed, educate that person.
