Yeah, as funny as it is, I would still call this poor sportsmanship. Maybe acceptable in a friendly, but not when there's money on the line. Like Sirlin says, use everything INSIDE the scope of the game to win. Kicking your opponent in the shin during a match wouldn't be considered acceptable, would it? While shouting during a tourney match probably wouldn't get you DQ'd, I'd still consider it a grey-area tactic in terms of legality.
