I wonder what'll happen to my OC from Origins since I made her Queen of Ferelden. o.o And I believe the old character is Ogrhen, since he appears in the trailer as part of the party. But we all know Alestair is back, being the King he is >.>
@GirlsRevolution Yeah the old character is Oghren which I don't mind seeing as I didn't really get to use him much since I always end up picking him up last lol, I just don't want them to write off the old companions for new ones that would suck...And yes I'm so glad they were able to get Steve Valentine back as Alistair..He's awesome I hope he's in every DLC/Expansion :)

@Veraflies well I didn't have tears, but I haven't played a game that is this captivating...I have two other games setting on my desk that I have yet to even play...I'm totally wrapped up in this one...
Apparently you get to keep only Oghren (besides Ali), as they announced him as the "one old favorite" from the game. They said it would cost too much to include all of the party members with their separate dialogue and everything, only to have one come with you. Instead, you get 5 new possible party members. I was pissed off when I heard this, TBH.
@Rabinna I figured that would be the reasoning they gave, but in all honestly I really don't think it would have cost that much more to bring Leliana, Zevran, Wynne and Shale back, I could be wrong, but I highly doubt it not to mention we will be mission out on a possibility of an awesome confrontation between Shale and the Inferno Golem...It would have been an epic showdown lol...Either way I'll be buying it...
Well, some of those voice actors are actually actors and have other projects to work on, and each of those characters would have to say a lot of lines, so I'd imagine it would cost a lot. But hey, Mass Effect 2 is coming out in a matter of days and that should bring enough money, so who knows, maybe we'll get to see them in the second expansion? I miss Zev :( And of course I'll be getting this expansion too, this game is too awesome to pass up! Did you read the novels?

Well, Bioware said we would be able to hear about other ex party members along the way, but that is hardly satisfying. Characters kind of lose their meaning if they're always getting replaced by new ones...Besides, remember how they've mentioned finding Morrigan at the end? That gives some hope of at least seeing her, so all is not lost! :) I still like Zevran the best, though. I'm planning on ordering the novels too, but not before Elder Scrolls: Infernal city :P

Why do you think Sten, of all people, will be in the sequel? Do you have some secret info that I haven't stumbled upon yet? :D Who knows when we might see that sequel, seeing as how they've got more expansions to work on, or so they said. And I'm guessing you like Oblivion more than MW, am I right? :P

I just hope they chill out with the prices a little, at least for DLCs, I'm okay with expansions, since they cost like any other normal game but add to the original game instead. I'm gonna have to look into that Qunari invasion, I totally forgot about that. I personally enjoyed Morrowind more, especially since you can make it look pretty darn sweet with mods and MGE. Are you getting Mass Effect 2? (ugh, I realise I am kind of spamming the comments here XD)

I've noticed that in the epilogue it says Zevran is the only one who went back with me to Amaranthine, but devs said they'll be including only Oghren! That's so immersion-breaking! And you should definitely get ME, it's a great game (although I prefer fantasy settings over sci-fi)

I realise now maybe I've made my comment a little unclear, I mean I haven't played Star Wars, but I have played Mass Effect. I'm thinking of getting KOTOR, though. I really don't see what's taking them so long with the DLC, but hey, if they can improve on it more and give us something more awesome, I say, let them work! As for Awakening, March just feels too far away. :(
This is why I prefer VA that aren't famous. That way they're cheaper and can be hired more often. Alas everyone wants the famous people in their games even if someone not so famous can have just as good or even better voice acting >_>
True, but luckily, ME2 should bring in enough money to hire the same, famous voice actors. Besides, if they have famous people in their games, the games get more publicity, thus getting more money, which means a bigger budget for improving on various aspects of the game. That's how I see it, anyway.
This looks awesome and a must have, however I'm not to happy about only one of your old companions will be returning...I would much rather have my old companions over new ones, that's just me...
