Its actually abit over 800hp from the last i heard, i ran mine at the same track and blew an intercooler pipe off about 100+ feet from the end and ran a 9.40 at 147.9mph. This one got me by .02 seconds and is #3 in the world and i am 4th. 2nd is in colorado and 1st is in puerto rico
minus the head and the getrag tranny. The getrag trans alone will run you around 5,5... I think this ones running a titan stroker too.... Stroker kit is like 9 grand (if you get a deal) + a motec. These builds are not cheap. Look at spending 40-50 for a decent looking car in the 800-1k hp range.
the head can be built for much less than a titan one. the bottom end is stock. it says so on his website. Its best to tune this car on aem not motec. my friend is making upwards of 850 on hers with about 12k worth of work. oh about the trans, the chevy 3 speed is a much cheaper option. you can make a replica of this car for around 20k cheap when you think that supras cost 20-25k sc300s can be had for 3
Since when is AEM better then Motec? The new AEM is almost as good as the Motec M600, AEM is alot cheaper and its doing its job well. We run AEM in our Supra and we cant complain :) But AEM better then Motec, no. Motec have a big minus since you have to buy and lock up for logging! A Motec M800 would be sweet though :)
That's true but the power loss through a chevy 3 speed is bad. The stock short block is good for 750-800rwhp from what I've read. I'm not talking about sending the head to titan but talking about building a supra/sc for high 140's low 150's trap speed's. Even if you opt for a different head you're looking at around 3k for a one that will flow a decent amount of volume. For the record nothing is better than a Motec.
yea he needs to put a spoiler on his car... would probably also give him a better time because his car would be running straight and would have better grip on the track

Wow props to the driver for keeping that thing from 54 flips! I think it would have ran faster if not for the horrible track. He started getting wiggly when he hit those retarded hills and dips in the track.

AEM was just bought out and they are dropping their PEMS line. They will also be offering no support to people who have recently purchased a pems.
