I thought it was from the colour above the beak. Our's started off being blue and is now brownish - we re assuming she is female (even the vet wasn't sure!)

Well, first of all, if your budgie hasn't had contact with males, the eggs are definitely infertile. Other than that, you'll just have to wait and see.

i had 5 budgies i use to play with them all the time i remember it like yesterday however as i grew they got sick 1 flew away and the other budgie the first 1 i got died of some illness lost his fathers when i came home my mom told me the blue ones dead i went downstairs to check and thier the blue bird was lying there dead i cryed my eyes and almost right to the point were it was reduciless i wish i had them back but its o late the other 4 i have are old and starting to lose fethers

When I begin handfeeding,I don't brood them.

To prevent sour crop, I feed them when their crop are empty.

To keep them warm, I use an electric heat film or a heating bulb with a thermostat.

I think the point of handfeeding budgies is keep them warm and the temperature of feed.

I used to keep them about 30C to warm.

And I used to keep feed's temperture about 40-45C to feed them and make feed every feeding time.

I think if baby budgies are fed by parents,it may be difficult to tame as handfeeding.

You can't just throw two birds together and expect them to have and raise a healthy nest of chicks. Do you even know if they're of the opposite gender? There's a dozen problems you need to prevent before the female has even laid her eggs and by the sound of it you can't even introduce two birds. Don't do it.

I really like baby parakeets it's just that i have a male and a female I don't want them to have babie's because i am very busy all the time and ithink I can't take very very extra care for them. :(

Don't worry, normally budgies need "competition" from other budgie pairs to prompt them to breed. If you just have one pair of happy birds then you're probably safe from breeding.
