They dont. The Devils are 10th out of 30 teams in revenue, back at the Meadowlands they lost money thanks to there crooked tenant, the NJSEA.

Downtown Newark is a fine place. BTW the Meadowlands had 2 assaults on the premises last season, the Prudential Center had none. You lose little girl.

i agree i was one of the fans who attended that game that arena is hands down the best arena in the nhl. i've been to way more games at the "izod center" but the rock is better.

ive been there plenty of times and havent been raped or robbed...the arena is great and if you ignore any preconceived notions of the city, you'll have a great time as well...if you disagree then don't say so here because this is a place for devils fans.

they built it there because it is easier to access than the meadowlands and because it also provides a boost to the economy of a developing city...but it is the ignorance and close mindedness of people like you who inhibit the progress of places like newark because you don't give it a chance (and probably haven't even been there)
