Yes you are right. I saw a lot worse than these clips I filmed on my mobile. One day I was in tears because I was so ashamed of what I was witnessing. And what is more shameful is that politicians allow this to continue in many countries around the world. There are many degrees of slum in India and other countries. It is appalling that people have to live in these conditions and worse. In the past decade the rich have got richer and poor as usual struggle just to survive.
be very careful of your use of the word 'slum'. Alot of the cities are just like this, and are not slums - if you want to film in a slum you should go to the mass sprawlings underneath train tracks etc where conditions are alot worse than you show here.
