I knew it was gonna work but I wouldn't recommend it as a permanent solution. Fuses are design to break so it doesn't break your electronic devices!

I actually figured that would work because my fuses went out in my truck and I rigged it until I could get to the auto store.

The fuse is there for a reason: To protect your devices anbd wiring from damage or fire from overloads.

When it pops, it either did it from age, vibration, or because there was a serious problem with the wiring that may cause a fire.

It works because the wrapper has metal, and makes a connection between the two terminals of the fuse. Don't use this, it won't turn off when you use too much power!
