I remember watching this when I was a little girl!!! :D I LOVED GL and they had such great characters, storylines, and actors!!! :) And Allison Janney!!! OMG I about freaked when I realized how I knew her when I first started watching "The West Wing"!!! ;) GL really did start a LOT of carrers for talented actors. ;)
CBS should be ashamed to even consider canceling this show. They could change the time slot, put it on after "Price is Right" and maybe change "Bold + Beautiful" The show is still great, just needs to be shown at a better time!
My Great-Grandmlother loved this show, she started from day 1 on the radio until she died in 88. She would turn in her grave if she saw the soap now. But I know she would have loved this scene

I had forgotten Vera was still around at this time. SHe was one of my favorites. Did she ever have an exit? I know Ginger and the other one didn't.

....and Frances Foster(Vera)...she was a great character actress.
