You couldn't find the torch because the Chinese were hiding it in a warehouse, and then ran away with it to film false "harmonious" footage to show back home, complete with runners who waved to no one on the sidewalks...leaving thousands and thousands of Chinese who traveled at great expense to attend ceremonies just standing there like fools! I just figured out how the torch could have been taken out. With WATER BALLOONS. A good strategy would have been to have a front line fire direct shots and when the torch bearers, upon reacting, commit to a direction or reaction, then have the back lines lob the balloons at the torch!

I live in germany and I saw the relay of the torch through san francisco on TV. It looked a bit strange to me that so many americans waged the red chinese flag, it looked a bit like those organized and orchestrated mass demonstrations in china itself.

I read about this on the news. Guess they decided there was too much protesting to carry the torch through. The Chinese Olympic website is reporting everyone is welcoming the torch on it's tour across the United States.
I can bet you this, 80% of the protesters are ignorant people who don't know jack sh*t about Tibetan history. Those who do know (let's say 15%) are extremely bias. So that leaves the 5% who are monks and exiled Tibetans monks. And for them to be carrying out violent protest is against their cultural teachings. Frankly, if you consider this from a logical perspective, these protests shouldn't even exist. But people are stupid and rash.

You couldn't find the torch because the Chinese were hiding it in a warehouse, and then ran away with it to film false "harmonious" footage to show back home, complete with runners who waved to no one on the sidewalks...leaving thousands and thousands of Chinese who traveled at great expense to attend ceremonies just standing there like fools! It would be interesting to see their reporting of the event.

Their way of life is simple and humble by nature, spiritual in every day life, happy. I just figured out how the torch could have been taken out. With WATER BALLOONS. A good strategy would have been to have a front line fire direct shots and when the torch bearers, upon reacting, commit to a direction or reaction, then have the back lines lob the balloons at the torch!

I live in germany and I saw the relay of the torch through san francisco on TV. It looked a bit strange to me that so many americans waged the red chinese flag, it looked a bit like those organized and orchestrated mass demonstrations in china itself.
And it's a bit weird that the US government let those chinese torch bodyguards into their country. They have been recruted from chinese special military forces, what the hell are foreign soldiers from a criminal regime doing on american streets?

I was watching the torch relay through San Francisco on tv tonight and I think the relay brings a bit of China to the world- totalitarian state avoiding public comment, heavy handed tactics with protesters and an arrogant attitude to criticism.
The IOC should have considered the occupation of Tibet and the persecution of religious minorities in their decision to grant the games to China rather than simply being lured by the prospect of ! billion consumers.

Great vid and great narration. I was there and there were fired up people on both sides. Not too many ignorant people like all these posters are claiming. Chinese people really proud to be having the Olympics and Tibetans and pro-Tibetans really concerned about the human rights violations going on back in Tibet... especially in the last week or so.
Great to see people on both sides excercising their right to congregate and express themselves. Too bad they can't do that everywhere.

I can bet you this, 80% of the protesters are ignorant people who don't know jack sh*t about Tibetan history. Those who do know (let's say 15%) are extremely bias. So that leaves the 5% who are monks and exiled Tibetans monks. And for them to be carrying out violent protest is against their cultural teachings. Frankly, if you consider this from a logical perspective, these protests shouldn't even exist. But people are stupid and rash.

You do not really represent the thought of all Chinese, even most of tibetians.
Because of you guys, thousands of Chinese missed their chance to see the torch too.
What was really happened in Lahsa recently was that Tibantians attacked stores and killed innocent people, then the police arrested them. Either in Tibet or other parts in China, human rights now is the best in history. Please do research first.
