A good brushing with a rake to get to the base of the coat every other day cuts down on the hair getting everywhere. Our PMD is 7 months and pure white.
omg 2 GP! I have 1 GP and the fur is driving me crazy! I Love her so much so we put up with it and even though we brush her about every 2 weeks we still can't seem to reduce the amount of hair she sheds in the house
@carlyjordon2002 you need to groom your pyr a lot more. daily surface brushing and weekly thorough brushing. then get a lightweight vacuum (we have the "ergorapido" from costco for running through the house every day. It doesn't hold much but if you do it (and empty it) every day it works fine.
I understand about loving her so much you put up with the fur! If we don't clean every day it looks like a snowstorm in here. :) Aren't they wonderful?
mine are also belariou pyrs. i just groomed mine 2 days ago outdoors on the porch, it was a great day with warm air finally here in chicagoland, it is just amazing how much they radiate after they are groomed.......the kids and nieghbors were so delighted by my dogs wonderfull snow white sheen.....like yours.
