  • price value?? lol PRICE VALUE... umm ok whatever you say

  • I wanted to buy one before it was mainstream.

  • It almost looked like a drill instructor, take your time to talk. And try to make it look like you talk to a friend. This is too stiff ;-)

  • What is the difference between "Mainstream" and "Postville"?

  • This video was added over a year ago now. Is this still a good drive or should i be looking for something else?

  • Yeah its a nice product.

It scores a 7.6 on the Win7 index score.

  • I have the 160GB version of this drive, and it pwns. I can boot windows 7 64bit in about 8 seconds on my ThinkPad T61 with a core 2 duo 2.2Ghz and 4 gigs of ram(DDR2)

  • @01sean Yes.

  • tips: slow down, dont sit like ur a solid thing, have some movement in your body, enthusiaum needed!

  • Someone could tell me if this is compatible with the ssd MB XFX 790i Ultra SLI? In RAID0. Thank

  • haha impressive, anyone knows if SSD will work just fine on any processer (I m using E8500 @ 3.8ghz) or is the performance is only significant on i7 cores?

  • i hear that any and all ssd drives lose major performance over time compared to plater drives

  • @asus3571 look into ssd's that offer support for TRIM.

  • yea i got an crucial m225 doesnt have trim its called garbage detection

  • @asus3571 they do but intels drives lose about 2% - 5% but windows 7 supports TRIM so the drives get some of the performance back

  • I want a solid state drive really badly, but most are still in the 3-4 dollars per gigabyte range and some hard drives are down to 12 cents per gigabyte. Guess I'll keep playing the waiting game.

  • @tipoomaster just bought this drive brand new for £250 :D

  • @nawaz2kx same! :O

  • far out I thought vista was slow to boot but vista boots as fast as the SSD in this vid on my seagate 7200.11 drive

  • This is just what I was looking for - side by side comparison of actual usage.

  • Daamnn I want one

  • I was a bit nervous on that one for sure, thanks for the kind words...

  • @motherboardsorg

What if your processor is AMD? Will this SSD still work?

  • @HoneycombAgent sure.. It isn't depended on the chipset. It can be used like everyother SSD.

  • @HoneycombAgent the processor will not affect whether you use hdd or ssd as long as you use serial hard drives NOT pata (IDE) you are good to go

  • Nice job. btw. you were nervous making this video, just take a pause and it's gonna sound better.
