@GadsonSmirhFamily: If the reporter had an once of sense, she would have done what you so very elegantly did. Alas, that sort of behavior is sadly lacking these days along with common sense.
Origin:130050; ME (n.) < OF, deriv. (cf. past < L pāstus fodder) of repaistre to eat a meal < LL repāscere to feed regularly, equiv. to L re- re- + pāscere to feed (cf. pasture )
Re*past"\, v. t. & i. To supply food to; to feast; to take food. [Obs.] "Repast them with my blood." --Shak.
He then, also, as before, left arbitrary the dieting and repasting of our minds. --Milton.
P.S. she is not bright. It is a European word with French orgins used as early as the 1300's and Shakespeare and Milton even used the word. See below:
[Middle English, from Old French, from Late Latin repāstus, from past participle of repāscere, to feed : re-, re- + Latin pāscere, to feed; see pā- in Indo-European roots.]
Is she just stupid or dumb please tell me which? With all of this technology look up the word repast before you get on the air and make a fool of yourself calling a repast a party. Damn fool!

There's more to this, they went to commercial after she said what she said.... came back and she was questioning the word.. was oblivious and being ignorant. I need to find that part
"After party"? Are you freaking kidding me? Repast, something she has never heard before? What the hell happened to legitimate news. People USED to actually do their research before they plastered their mugs all over t.v. speaking as if they are the authority on situations. ANYONE can get on t.v. these days and spout off at the mouth...after party, WTH.
