I'm a bit fishnet and ransom fan, only I can't get UD shadows not to melt in an hour or two - with or without primer. Depressing!!

I have "Flash" by Urban Decay. That could work? Only issue is, i dont have many purples, but i have dark blues, dark greens and etc. Pretty much any dark color besides a dark purple. What color [besides dark purple] could i use to the outer eye for definition?

Purple is like my go to color. It always looks the best on my eyes and I've been looking for different tutorials for purples. I LOVE that I just found yours cause I literally have Flash coming in the mail, have had that Hip Duo sitting in my make up case for months as well as the Revlon creme. Mac Cosmetics has the exact same purple loose pigment powder! i use it all the time its awsome! they also have a base stick in deep purple that makes your color last all day and makes the purple really pop!!!

I am definitely a purple lover!!! However, it's hard to master the art of applying gorgeous purple eye makeup like you!=..= Wish I could try that HIP Duo, the Loreal, Maybelline & Revlon range are relatively limited in HK. Having said that, we get to try all the gorgeous Japanese brands which are compitable with Asian skin. I guess for you it's the other way around, Japanese brands aren't too accessible in the States.

I really love the VOV hot purple pearl eyeshadow, I still can't find a good dupe for it -- I can't shell out $20 for UD's "flash"--- but I did stumble upon a duo eyeshadow on Ebay with an irridescent purple for $1.69 (this includes shipping too) and its brand is also VOV :) It seems to be the same color but I'm not sure if its just a clear gel with purple sparkles. Just type VOV purple eyeshadow in the search box (ebay seller is specialsupermarket).

I'd recommend using Medusa's Makeup in Purple Rain. It looks ultra matte on their website, but it's actually a very bright purple when you put it on.
