Simple theory behind this video.....!!! Foreigners think they have the best pleasures to offer and have less of things depicted on this video...!! We invented "0" when u ppl where running arund But naked climbing tree to tree
"Hy sir, i guess u won't find such places back in your country,
humm mammm am sorry to say, for the money am paying, this would be the worst place In my country"
Anyone notice that Indian cities look like in "normal times" what Japanese towns and cities look like after they've been devastated by an earthquake and tsunami?
just make a video about beggars on roadside of NYC, shitty weather, Crime rates, Gangsters. you never know when you get killed when you are in america.
i really like this video and i dont think its just showing poverty...i mean all these things are happening there and its the life in bangalore.sure there are also other places and IT and so on but this is the heart of it. if u watch it u see the warmth in it and i really love it. i have been to bangalore one week ago and i really miss it. thanks for posting this video :)
i am really enjoying this video...i am germany and nearly married to an indian and i love india. i have been to bangalore one week ago and i dont agree with many of the comments here...while watching the video i didnt feel like its just showing poverty...its showing the life in bangalore in many areas...sure there are also other parts and IT and all these things...but al the things in this video u find everytwhere in this beautiful place...i miss bangalore so much and i am happy about this video
This video is fine and "shefsalad" has shown the places which are not common for him and i dint see any racism in this video i was missing bangalore and i am happy to see bangalore as it is.. yes i agree bangalore has many places which are devoloped and more beautiful he might have not got them on video coz they are common in almost countries..
I enjoyed the images very much but you should have balanced the video by showing that Bangladore is a modern city overlaying the older third world city. Showing the contrast would have made the video more interesting and provided a truer portrait of Bangalore.
i agree that its not a tourist's guide of Bangalore . nevertheless ,it has hurt some indians. thank u for saying that u love our country. pl visit again .
brother.bangalore has many historical and beautiful places. instead of showing some of them, u have concentrated only on the poverty. i believe that ur country also has people sleeping on the streets eventhough u are a "rich country"
Hi, I appreciate your feedback. Nowhere in the description of this video is it listed as a tourist's guide of Bangalore or a video of historical places. It's simply a small slice of a big city. This is simply video of the places that I went and the things that I saw. I am not trying to make India look bad or anything. I love this country.
It was so enjoyable watching this video. I am from Mumbai, visited Bangalore twice during mid-90s and it has changed a lot. It has become much more crowded. It is always difficult to understand and appreciate other cultures. People everywhere in the world should refrain from having stereotypes.
I am in US now, appreciate its modern structures but it doesn't demean my homeland which inspite of its poverty is culturally so beautiful.
But, yes its always difficult to understand other cultures!
"people who are livin in bangalore can feel da the good smell" but better c bangalore in da whole it is one of the biggest growin city in Asia where b'lore is earnin 34% of foreign exchange to India so better get it proper. Poverty is der in dis country but it doesnt mean it is a poor nation, 4 of Indian are lined up in the world richest people record. so better think dat and get the proper view. okies ne ways truth is always bitter for u guys...
Thanks for the racist remark. It tells a lot about you as well. Where do you live in Bangalore to have never seen the places in this video? Have you never explored your city? Many of these images are from Chikpete, a bustling economic sector. I agree that poverty is sad, but that doesn't mean that it needs to be ignored. Are you saying that poor people can't lead great lives? Who's "clueless" now?
If shefsalad knows a little from Oxford documents, then she wouldnt dare to speak about poverty. Here it goes..
In 1836 India's GDP was 13% of world GDP (apparently more than all the western countries together now)
When Brits left in 1947, india's economy was not even 0.5%. Well now you can do the math and know how much we have been looted! Now if I consider our GDP even before Islamic rule, then the rest of the world would be jealous to be frank!!!!
Agreed that the British looted our country, but they've been gone for 62 yrs now. How long will you keep blaming them? If they didn't arrive in India, it would be the monarchs and sultans who'd be sucking the common man dry today. And now that the Brits left, the politicians suck the public dry by embezzling funds from the coffers to the tune of billions.
I havent any hatred for British or for that matter anyone in this world. But they should refrain from showing things to defame India, when the disorder was made by thier anscestors at first place! they shud just mind thier own business#!
shefsalad , nobody is denying rights to poor , but poverty should not be used as a convenient tool to hit the Indians. When you say Banglore , video should have been more balanced . Its like trying to show only south Chicagos poorest areas under the banner of Chicago !!!
Just another pathetic ugly ignorant american's lopsided biased view of a colorful country. Do not post such videos of my city and create a negative thought. Get lost to Florida or wherever
I wasn't trying to create a negative view of a colorful country. This video isn't a comprehensive view of Bangalore either. This is an amateur video of our very short trip to a big city. I just recorded the things that were different and interesting to me. Please don't take offense.
thanks for visiting my country, though India is poor in economic wise to all people, but we are proud that india lives with all diversification . Different languages, different food habbits, different living styles and different cultures.I am proud to be born in Great Country.
this is a very one-sided story... she's taken care to just catch those poor moments of the city... she did not go to the other side where its much better and wonderful to see
because it's like ignoring everything else and looking only at aboriginal settlements, the stolen generation and other bad things that Australians have done to the natives.. its just lopsided.
Because it is a very narrow perspective. It's like looking at only at the illtreatment of aboriginals, the racism and binge drinking in Australia and ignoring the beautiful trees, laid back country etc.
Couple of centuries ago, what was world? what was India and who were third world??? the time is a wheel, what goes down comes up and what comes up will go down fortunately or unfortunately..........
because India is a third world country (I'm Indian myself). like the way you're not supposed to say an old man old,. it would hurt the sentiments of the person. unless you're really arrogant
We need the money for more important things like going to the moon and releasing precious dollars so that our rich Indians can buy their fancy sportscars and foreign houses and enjoy foreign vacations.
I didn't have much of a purpose, but merely compiled the footage I had. I shot what was interesting to me. Our aim wasn't to create a comprehensive picture of Bangalore.
ur listening to an amazing song by the worst american country singer ever. Steven Curtis Chapman has ruined a brilliant song sung by The Proclaimers called I'm Gonna Be(500 miles). Americans always rip off classic british songs.
haha you dun have the value of being in bangalore man... i stay in spain.. i used to stay in bangalore for 10 years and u have no clueee how much videos like dis make me happy... i loveeee bangalore.. and its a place u shud adore man.. trust me.. ull miss it like crazy if you go away

it won't see a difference for us as indians, coz we see it every day in our life, work hard and you will succeed.
Since british looted our country its ok atleast you able to live now properly with proper dignity rather being slaves to west country.
If you consider these also racist then you are a racist
