It's up there with the likes of the BBC and Reuters (I'm sorry but CNN and Fox news don't even rate on an international scale; American news is the worst). I think it's great that Al-Jazeera started an English broadcast, they probably did it so that people like you will become a thing of the past.

It is one of the few remaining "ideological" news networks that strive for actual journalism, not spin. Their main difference is that they pay equal attention to what happens in ALL corners of the world.
