I think people need to cut the Spencers some slack. Yeah, what they did was wrong, but get over it. If it wasn't for the, PC would be one giant popsicle now. As if Coma Leslie isn't enough proof that they were somewhat justified in their reasoning...
Unlike many others, I completely believe Laura would have done this. She had a long history of "just doing things" then crying and coming up with a million excuses for herself. Points in case - Letting her mother take the blame for David Hamilton; Telling the press that she is "Mrs. Scotty Baldwin" right after "marrying" Luke in the diner. Laura was always this way.
I honestly think this was a scheme out of pure desperation, if Laura had taken 5 minutes to consider how everyone would feel, she would never have agreed.
Audrey: "A long time ago, when Laura was just a teenager, she left Port Charles with Luke Spencer, every mothers nightmare." Luke: "Thank you, Audrey." LOL he looks so proud :L
I hated how they wrote Laura in this storyline. Even knowing how history between Lesley and Laura, I really don't think she would have agreed to any of the stuff Luke pulled here.
I missed most of L&L through the 90's thank you so very, very, very much for posting these for our pleasure and giving me the fix I need now that GF came and went again on GH! It is just not the same without her!!
