Rumor is Adrian wanted to do a bunch of crazy shit in Maiden once him and Bruce were back in like alternative tunings, down-tunings and such, but Steve Harris and Kevin Shirley didn't like it.
i love this song. i didn't like it at first but the verse is just a pounding punch to your face. totally heavy and suprisingly groovish for bruce. sick song though
Adrian Smith = one of the most underrated guitarists about. One of the best, no doubt. Completely overshadows the speed of players like Janick and Roy (love both of them), with a ridiculous talent for making a solo fit perfectly, so stylishly.
@abrighterview Yes, yes, and a thousand times Yes!! Adrian subscribes to the tone, phrasing, and note choice > speed playing. He always seems to find the right notes. Not only that, he consistently delivers the goods live- no super-speed hashjobs of studio solos. He nails it. Why? Because he's an artist and the studio solos are finely crafted. As such, they deserve to be played as close to original as possible on stage.
After Dio's death Bruce is the only living heavy metal legend

Why take adrenaline shots? 1 drop of Bruce's blood will do.
