Swarnalatha is best no doubt...but in the start sruthi went elsewhere...also I guess generally sruti was very high for both Raja & Swarna...they shd have reduced to a bit....btw is Swarnalatha a Tamil singer????

It is difficult to explain man:-) as in every person's throt has a definite range or scale....u can comfortably sing only in the defined range god has gifted...if u need to extend a little bit u can do by using false voice.....when u go lower ocaves or mid or higher octaves....the voice shd go parallel with the scale....not like u sing in one sruti...tampoora is set to other.....u shd align with the instruments scale....this is very imp in carnatic...tahts y all sing withtampora

Just the first Adiathadi she sang.....it was not like original Janakis Adiaathadi...I am not talking abt voice or style of singing.....just listen to original Adiatahdi (first 2 lines) and this...u will notice how sruti is different....Also when u r on stage this always happens to everyone....Swarnalatha is a best best singer...no no no doubt....may be as ppl now say she was suffering from lung disease still she has participated in stage shows...RIP
