im not knocking the guy solo'ing in this clip directly, but it seems to me the biggest mistake "lead guitarists" make is they confuse mindless showoff wankery with a lead line that adds an important part to a song....

nice dellinger.. i am getting an Caparison TAT "Red Sunset" guitar, 2008 model, with one humbucker and 2 singlecoils. Do you got any experience with the TAT models?

Thats right...I have 85 in the bridge 81 in Neck.... a lot of player use the 85 in bridge ( Killswitch, Soilwork etc..)

It´s a cool setup I think.

sweet man im gonna check that setup out... i use 81 in both positions i find the difference in thickness of the wood in each position warms the tone on the neck 81 just right for me! greetings to you too

I would get dual 85's or 85 bridge 60 neck.

I have a 85 in my bridge and i think it is way clearer and has more punch than the 81 in the bridge. and it really brings out those pinch harmonics.

@njected I love the 81 in the neck. My Rg has the 60/81 setup. It's tone is very amazing.  Lot's of clarity. That's all I care about.

i agree, he is very talented, but as far as variation he is very poor at it. it sounds as if he uses the exact same notes in every solo. im not hatin, he is a very good guitarist, but different is good sometimes.

Hi (I´m the player;) , thanks a lot for the comment. I agree with you in what you say. I work hard to variate more on stage. The video you see is one year ago, and every solo played on the same evening. If I played at home I have more skills and licks but to revert them live on stage is a differnt. But I tried to work hard on it:) So thanks a lot for the truth you say to this video!!
