I cant even step out of my front door. I have had every therapy possible at home, from drs, gateway workers, been through the whole mental health system, hypnotherapy, EFT, Cognitive behavioral therapy, NLP, physiologists, specialists in agoraphobia, read books, specialist methods, homeopathy.

I have never been to a club or party or do any of the things that normal girls my age do. When i was younger i was never able to go to large shopping centres. Before i became completely housebound I was only able to get to school and back, then at 18 i became completely housebound, im now nearly 21.

@eccentricizex I live with agoraphobia 24/7 sufferers dont get "time off" its a constant battle, there is not a moment in my day where i am not feeling anxious or in some way affected. So in comparison with how much it affects me i dont think so. Agoraphobia takes over your life, your mind, creates terrifying physical symptoms, makes you feel like your dying all the time. I speak about my agoraphobia openly with my supporters.
@eccentricizex Its very hard to open up about something so personal, for some, talking can be the first steps to recovery. I dont talk about agoraphobia online for my benefit, i do it because i have come to realise that by me talking about my experiences i have helped other sufferers, i get emails daily saying thank you and that they now have the strength to take a step outside after hearing me talk about agoraphobia. So if me talking about it helps at least one person i will carry on to do so.
@eccentricizex After all, all of the negative comments i receive about my agoraphobia, BDD, depression or anxiety are usually from people who have no idea what it is like to live with these sorts of illnesses. I want to educate people about an illness that is so very misunderstood and try to cut out a bit of the ignorance that not only I face daily but many other sufferers.But its an illness that no one could fully understand unless they have been through it. Don't worry about what these people have to say! This is what brings alot of people to have agrophobia. My boyfriend was house bound for a long ass time and it was horrible. Your beautiful and your voice is amazing! Don't focus on the negative things that are being said, listen to the positive, focus on your recovery, get out of your house and continue doing amazing things. The people that are saying the negative comments don't deserve getting any kind of response from you!

I doubt they said i was 14, they were probably talking about my anxiety through the years and catalysts that affected me, i have suffered with anxiety and panic attacks since i was 6, so a lot of the articles written about me have talked about my singing and agoraphobia through my years growing up. No where that i know have has got my age wrong. x

@blowjobbins101 Dont be so ignorant, i have been suffering with debilitating anxiety and panic attacks since i was 6, i now have severe agoraphobia, body dysmorphic disorder, depression,health anxiety,generalized anxiety and social anxiety i have been housebound for over 2 years. I dont like the way i look and id change it all if i could. I dont have confidence in every day life but when i sing i become almost confident i become someone else.

@eccentricizex I live with agoraphobia 24/7 sufferers dont get "time off" its a constant battle, there is not a moment in my day where i am not feeling anxious or in some way affected. So in comparison with how much it affects me i dont think so. Agoraphobia takes over your life, your mind, creates terrifying physical symptoms, makes you feel like your dying all the time. I speak about my agoraphobia openly with my supporters.

@eccentricizex Its very hard to open up about something so personal, for some, talking can be the first steps to recovery. I dont talk about agoraphobia online for my benefit, i do it because i have come to realise that by me talking about my experiences i have helped other sufferers, i get emails daily saying thank you and that they now have the strength to take a step outside after hearing me talk about agoraphobia. So if me talking about it helps at least one person i will carry on to do so.

@eccentricizex After all, all of the negative comments i receive about my agoraphobia, BDD, depression or anxiety are usually from people who have no idea what it is like to live with these sorts of illnesses. I want to educate people about an illness that is so very misunderstood and try to cut out a bit of the ignorance that not only I face daily but many other sufferers.But its an illness that no one could fully understand unless they have been through it. Don't worry about what these people have to say! This is what brings alot of people to have agrophobia. My boyfriend was house bound for a long ass time and it was horrible. Your beautiful and your voice is amazing! Don't focus on the negative things that are being said, listen to the positive, focus on your recovery, get out of your house and continue doing amazing things. I doubt they said i was 14, they were probably talking about my anxiety through the years and catalysts that affected me, i have suffered with anxiety and panic attacks since i was 6, so a lot of the articles written about me have talked about my singing and agoraphobia through my years growing up. No where that i know have has got my age wrong. x
