  • Nice to see something original, and well-done at that. Many of these Hitchcock video tributes on YouTube have little creativity.Check out my original song tribute "Here's To Alfred Hitchcock." Just click on my name below or search CraigASilver.

  • Great job!

  • JOJ

  • Well done sir

  • haha! Hitchcock's Mother! XD

  • nice

  • Very nicely done. I'm sure Hitchcock himself would be pleased.:-)

  • presents what

  • Hahahaha That was so awesome!

  • Nice :) Except that all of the images you used were from his movies, which had nothing to do with the show. Really well produced and put together though.

  • At the end what happened to the guys head that fell?

  • I think it smushed

  • Awesome, man.

  • can you do a twilight zone thing like this?

  • The sound effects where a bit to loud, but otherwise pretty nice..

although some of the stuff seemed a bit random..

But i has some really good parts.

I like the telephone pole become many and give a 3d effect, but the birds just quickly come and goes.. I would have made the birds fli across as the shot of the house apears.

    But nice work.

  • Its not scary but The lady vanishes has a good story to it.

  • the birds psycho and vertigo the best of hitchcock ( psycho is my fav of those 3 )

  • i did it with after effects and illustrator, i treated each image in adobe illustrator and created parts that could be moved in after effects, kind of like paper dolls almost pretty rudimentary at the time as i did not know after effects very well. but i'm glad you like it thanks for your input ^_^

  • This is great!

  • Let's see... the Birds, Psycho, and Vertigo?

  • That was pretty cool.

  • Great work!

  • Well I disagree, I loved both The Trouble with Harry and Birds. They are legendary.

On the other hand your after effects skills rock!

  • In the original title sequence, there was room for a sponsor I.D. of 10 second duration, after the title was flashed {"Brought to you by Bristol-Myers", during the first five seasons; later an announcer gave one for "Your Lincoln-Mercury Dealer"}- it was omitted in syndicated prints, 'ryxter'. In your title sequence, the sponsor I.D. would have been delivered at the :15 mark, after the camera zooms through the window. Then, the title would continue. That's what I meant, 'ryxter'.

  • oh cool how interesting thanks for the info, it would be nice to have announcers again instead of those weird eye catches at the corner of the screen that pop in and out.

  • Great job, there is no other...

  • Excellent and clever. A nice tribute to 'The Master'.

  • I think the sponsor's I.D. {"Brought to you by...", on the window} was originally supposed to appear at the :15 mark, 'ryxter' - since this is supposed to be the "syndicated" version, it really doesn't make much difference. Very good!

  • i'm not really sure what your implying about the sponsor's ID? or the syndication version?

I did this for an after effects class back in 2004 or was it '03? i dont remember it was a while back, thanks for the comment however ^_^

  • I have so many Hitchcock movies. Vertigo, and Psycho, but not the Birds. This was excellent. Very creative! I have to admit, I could do without the splat at the end. I have to reiterate what Bruno said from Strangers on a Train, I like people who do things. You are very talented. Thanks.

  • The Birds is a really stupid movie. Its so bad its funny, I literally laughed out loud in many parts . I love Hitch, but was disappointed with The Birds.

  • Yeah, it was one of my least favorites too. The Trouble with Harry as well.

  • GREAT JOB, loved it

  • that was an amazing 30 seconds. great job!

  • was that vertigo at the end?

  • yes it was ^_^ plus the birds =p

  • it was great at the begining

  • a bit gross don't you think? I mean Hitchcock has a sedateness...

  • Exactly, except for maybe Frenzy. It's a little wild and wooly.

  • Ryxter, I gotta give you mega props! This was too damn cool!

  • absolutely fantastic!!

  • Great!

    I made a Hitchcock's video too!

If you like to, check out in my page!

  • Did you use Vertigo, Psycho, and The Birds for this?

  • yes i did, they are the most iconic as well as well recognizable i thought when making it

  • how'd you make this?

  • i used adobe illustrator and after effects

  • cool, you like Hitchcock don't you

  • Pretty cool

  • Man, that was awesome! Great! :-D

  • lol that's fantastic!! very well done!!

  • Really Cute!!

  • Das Film ist sehr gut!

  • Cute!

  • Me too didn't like the ending I'm all for not really showing the 'gore'. But other than that cool.

  • very nice

  • Cool, you should F9 your keyframes, so to ease in the final movements

  • thanks for the tip i'll remember that next time ^_^

  • I agree didn't really like the crakced open head ending.

  • dude thas awesome!

but i didnt really like the ending, ruined the mood

  • I like it a lot.

  • LOL. Very good.
