gebre is the king in my oppinion. he has to be one of the most acomplished athletes in his era. however mottram ran one of the best 5k's in history in this race. gebre was first but there were two winners. He stuck it to the big man with over a lap to go and that takes balls of titanium. I'm just saddened that most people now adays cant even comprehend what it would take to run under 13 min for a 5k. And at the same time we have social degenerates, like teves who get paid to sit on the bench!

@voidwareprohibited If you ran your absolute best and still got outkicked you wouldn`t be annoyed? It`s not so much that the other guy won, it`s how he won. Racing for place rather than time does two things: it shows that you don`t care that you are performing at your top level, you just want to be better than the other guy, and it makes it somewhat personal winning in that way. Just my opinion, I guess.

Mottram is about 6'3". actually he's probably at a disadvantage in distance running because of his size. the fact that he's able to kick it with the best of the ethiopians shows what a great heart and great spirit abides within "Big Buster" (thats what the girls call him) Mottram.

What Mottram does with his large frame is equally impressive as Haile with his small frame. In fact when a cancer survivor runs a marathon that is equally impressive as well. Running is great!
