  • texas is gun heaven haha im sorry you get commied over there man

  • hey man you oughta just move out here to Tennessee brother. Good weather, short winter, NO WAITING PERIOD for long guns or handguns!

  • yesenia's mexican food is right next to BIG AND TALL!

  • i live in new mexico and we get our guns same day after backround check and only pay tax no fees.

  • Comment removed

  • 10 day waiting, fees, bad bluing finish, made in philipines????????????? you should have just went and spent a few more bucks and got a US made gun.

  • @Tperez671

    Look up my video

    "S&W 500 Unboxing"

You'll like that video. That gun is American made.

  • ya, here in arizona, we dont have all the fees and all that, but the prices are higher on the guns

  • @twag0735

I hate the 10 day wait!

  • nice gun! i'm so glad I get to bypass the 10 day wait here in california.

  • @fordxbgtfalcon

Those 10 day waits are a damn killer!

  • its 22.2 ounces

  • you didnt even shoot it bro

  • @mariWANNA1017

Look up Armscor M206 review. I shot it in that video and look up Armscor M206 Vs Makarov

  • This is one of the few guns left I need to buy, along with a blued Ruger P-95, to match my black & gray hoodie jacket. =) On a side note, up here in Michigan, we don't have those fees, and with a concealed carry permit, I can walk out of the store with my gun the same day.

  • armscor guns are good, especially for it's price... i got a GI 1911 as my base gun, 10k rounds after, it's still shooting very good. i'm still using the original slide, barrel, and frame. the only complain i have is it's extractor. it broke after just a few hundred rds... could be a quality control issue since my friend who got another armscor did not have that problem... in any case, it is still something i would recommend, especially if you are on a tight budget... good value for your money...

  • @jrsystrt the armscor extractor is probably the most common issue the its 1911 model has. After a few hundred rounds mine broke so I replaced it with an STI extractor. Has not broken down since

  • i am so glad i live in kentucky, i once bought 2 handguns at once no problem i walked out with them about 15 minutes later. nice video keep it up.

  • FILIPINASHOOTER if you think this gun is soo crappy. pick up your friends gun and blow your head off JERK! let see how you react on that!

  • No we don't have all those fees in Texas. Just buy the gun and regular tax. No wait take it home that day. Pretty much buy anything you want here in Texas high capacity magazines, almost any rifle or pistol made.. Only restriction is no full autos and no silencers those are for military and law enforcement only. Other than that the field is wide open in the Lone Star State. ;-)

  • its considered a womens gun because their easy to use but what ever

  • @SeaSickDrop

They say that 38 special is the minimum of what you should use for self defense =)

  • @FireArmsResQ yea, but they are also good for self defense because my mom is not gonna hold up a shotgun or a rifle. the snub nose is easy for her to shoot so it is better than fiddling around with my dads magnum haha……. its easy to reload and doesnt jam so its perfect for her.

  • 10 day waiting period ouch. Here in West Virginia I can walk into Walmart or any other gun store and buy a gun in like 15 minutes. Just gotta fill out the federal paperwork. No extra fees except for 6% sales tax. No state restrictions on guns at all. 30 Round mags :)

  • @Jwlancaster

The only good thing about the 10 day wait and 1 handgun per month limit here is that it kind of limits me from making impulse buys. If I was allowed unlimited handguns a month I would have Hi-Points and Jimenezs by now =P

  • @FireArmsResQ Nothing wrong with Hi-Points except they are a waste of ammo you could shoot in your Glock. I've read a lot about them on various websites and they seem to work quite well for a budget handgun. Just stay away from the Jimenez/Jennings/Bryco/Lorcin/Davis Industries/Raven/Phoenix Arms junk guns. Cobra firearms makes most of the Davis and Lorcin models nowadays. Oh and my impulse buys are prevented by my cheapness :). I still look at the $187 maverick 88 shotgun at Walmart alot though

  • @FireArmsResQ haha what i do in mass is get one every tax free weekend...so one a year....well maybe not just one!

  • This gun is crap. My friend had his for 3 years. One time, he fired 33 rounds or so. After pulling the trigger for the 34th shot, the cylinder of his revolver won't turn. It got stock! Armscor ordinance steel expanded. Low Quality. After an hour when his gun cooled off, it functioned again. Then he sold it off.

Cheap life? Get a cheap gun. Cheap gun means cheap quality and being cheap can get you killed. What if it the cylinder jams? Get a S&W, COLT, Rossi, or Taurus. Your life depends on it.

  • This gun is crap. My friend had his for 3 years. One time, he fired 33 rounds or so. After pulling the trigger for the 34th shot, the cylinder of his revolver won't turn. It got stock! namaga! Armscor ordinance steel expanded. Low Quality. After an hour when his gun cooled off, it functioned again.

  • Armscor guns are really cheap, but the good thing is, they worked! I have Armscor 1911 .45 ACP, all stock. Never had a jam after firing 3000 rounds... Not fancy but see they really worked.

  • the .38 snub is more discreet

  • @XxmugiwarapiratesxX

For sure. Perfect gun to conceal!

  • you are fucking funny,bro.

  • @kendyluu

Glad you got some laughs out of this man =)

  • those guns have so many misfires. They make good paper weights

  • @mrbratsch

Mines been great. 700 rounds so far. How long did yours hold up?

  • @FireArmsResQ I don't know how many rounds it has been through but I'm assuming not many. I went shooting and a friend brought it along. It would misfire every 4th to 5th shot. The cylinder wouldn't bind. Must have been a lemon. pretty accurate though.

  • @pleasesubme1000

They have a Snub nose Revolver in the videogame Mafia =)

  • @pleasesubme1000

I'm actually a huge videogame nerd and I buy all my guns based on what I saw in Video Games. Most of the guns I own are guns in Resident Evil. So I enjoy collecting them and shooting them.

  • @pleasesubme1000

I agree man. I don't hunt and I'm not one of those crazy gun guys who thinks the worlds going to end soon.

I try to keep a light hearted vibe on my channel. Keep it fun a place where people will feel comfortable to comment. For me it's about having fun and being safe.

  • @pleasesubme1000

    Dime Bag Darrel?

  • reminds me of black ops

  • @reaper83001

    You gotta get one =)

  • I don't pay fees. Just taxes..most of that is your state charging stupid fees

  • @BlueCollarSurvival

    Really stupid fees!

  • you are talking so excited and moving the pistol shaking it cuase of the emocion , i will be like you if i hve a revolver ( if my mother let me get one D:)

  • @UltraJuiceChop

Getting a new gun makes me very happy =D

Tell your mom guns are good!

  • thnx man^_^

  • @Lhecxz

    No problem boss =)

  • @firearmsresQ> u a Filipino Or n0t.........?

  • @Lhecxz

Yeah but I haven't been to the PI since I was 8 man =P

  • @firearmsresQ> ahaha very funny........?

  • HAha very Funny..............?

  • @firearmsResQ> how much.....in philippine money..?

  • @Lhecxz

I have no clue how to convert peso's.

But about 200 bags of chips =P

  • @Lhecxz

    I believe it's 8800 pesos

  • Kentucky is great no stupid fees or waiting

  • Question bud. How big is your hand i have freakin dinner plates as hands i want to know if i could hold it? comforably

  • @SavageTilley

I dont have monster hands or anything but I do prefer fullsized guns like the Glock 17 and 92fs because my hand extends to the end.

That being said though I thought this would be nothing more then a novelty gun but its a lot of fun to shoot even with small grips. Very light recoiling.

If you look at the suggestion bar on the side you'll see my review off to the side.

I've put about 700 rounds through it, its a nice little gun.

  • @FireArmsResQ Thanks man i think i am going to try and find one to Buy be my frist pistol.

  • u cant have a taurus judge in cali?! wtf

  • @mark16443

They classify it as a "sawed off" shotgun

  • the fee's in NC are usually paid for by the FFL, so the price you see looks higher than the ones in other states, but that is the total cost so it's actually about the same.

I got this gun today myself, i needed a wheel gun for a run and gun showdown between myself and some friends.

  • @TjinTur

Congrats on the new gun man!

I've put about 700 rounds through mine and so far so good. Great gun for the price.

  • in Kentucky, show them your I.D. give them money, go home with gun.

  • do you live in california? what city?

  • @zhagray

    I'm in San Diego

  • @FireArmsResQ wow i also live in San Diego

  • @zhagray

Cool man, despite the shitty gun laws I love it here =)

  • Illinois, we have to wait 3 days exactly 72 hours (GAY)

  • @The88camaro

Not as gay as 10 days =P

  • Wisconsin, we have to wait 2 days exactlly 48 hrs.

  • @rokamebaby

Thats awesome but whats the point of waiting 2 days =P

From the answers Im getting its right away,1 day, 2 days, 3 days and 10 days! Very strange the differences.

  • In Tennessee we just walk into a pawn shop, hardware store, or gun show and walk right out with it.

  • @TheDaniel13761

Nice man! I would go broke on guns if I was allowed to just go home with them like that in 1 day =P

  • you gonna do a shooting video on the armscor?

  • @killerofchoa

    Youtube search

Armscor M206 Review Snub Nose Revolver Colt Detective Clone

  • Idaho doesn't require you to buy a gun lock. Some guns come with one, and if it doesn't the sheriff's department gives them out for free. When I want a new gun, I walk in and get one and go right home with it. But I worry about our future because Idaho likes to follow other states and they watch what California does.

  • I have to tell you...the more I look at your Armscor .38 ... the more it reminds me of a Colt Detective Special or Colt Commando. How has it functioned for you?

  • @ShooterReview

I put about 900 rounds through it. So far so good. Fun gun to shoot.

  • HAHAH

he thinks the middle of the road is the wait lane...

    So true

  • @The818211187

    Dont you hate that!

  • Just be thankful that you don't live in New York City.

  • @sniper11235

California has it's annoyances but I never take things for granted =)

  • @FireArmsResQ I wish charter arms would make one this beautiful so i wouldnt have to get a foreign gun at an affordable price. Charter arms guns are ugly but i hear they are good

  • LOL I know exactly where this store located at its in CLAIREMONT MESA I buy powder there all the time hahaha

  • @maryfel143

If you ever see me in there feel free to say hi!

I'll probably be in there buying one of their discounted guns from the list =P

  • Just ordered the last one in stock and on clearance from Midwest Hunters Outlet for $183.99 with free shipping!

  • @sturmgewehr70

Thats a great deal man! Well worth the money! DId you see my review on it? It's in the video responses. Its a great gun for the money.

  • One more question, is it ok to rapid fire with this gun or will the cylinder lock up if you do?

  • @MrFryguy001

Rapid fire works flawlessly. Review in the video responses complete with rapid fire test.

  • I live in Cali too and my local gun shop has this gun for $289. I know kinda pricey, but please tell me how's this gun been treatin you? Is it reliable?

  • @MrFryguy001

I've put 800 rounds through this gun and it's held up nicely. I'll have a review of it up on Saturday.

For $289 that means it would come out to like $340 out the door. As much as I like this gun I dont like it enough to pay $340 for it. For 1 thing it's not rated +P. I have 0 experience with Taurus but aren't their Snubnoses around $300 and rated for +P

No ones going to buy that armscor for $289, doesn't hurt to offer them $250 out the door for it.

  • @FireArmsResQ At my local shop they usually have them for around $400 but I suppose they sell guns at a higher price in my town cause theirs alot of wealthy people, not neccesairly rich but somewhat wealthy and so I guess they figure they can make more money off of people that way. I wanted to buy a Ruger P95 9mm but they had it for $500!!! I'll probobly have to go to this other shop in a nearby town and buy one used.

  • @MrFryguy001

    Shop else where man =P

I would totally recommend this gun for $250. Still pricey but we pay shitty fees. Other states are lucky they can probably pick this thing up for like $214 out the door.

  • @FireArmsResQ Ya there's a used gun shop in a town nearby me I'll check that out. By the way I saw your profile it's hecka cool I have a Mosin too and a Mossberg Maverick 88, tell me now is it hard to find 7.62x54 ammo where your at cause I want to know if it would be hard to find in an apacolyptic situation.

  • @MrFryguy001

Big 5 Usually always has 7.62x54R in stock. Usually around 10-20$ a box for 20 rounds.

I buy my ammo online. You can buy those 440 round coldwar era "Spam Cans" of Mosin Ammo online for like $100 on sites like Cheaper than Dirt of you can buy them for like $6 for a box of 20.

I buy ammo for my Commie Guns(AK,Makarov,Mosin) online. Shippings only like $10.

  • HA! What's a waiting period? :-)

  • @woodlandcammo27

Thats when they think if you're mad and it will help you get less mad but they dont take into consideration I already have guns if I really was mad =P

Maybe this 10 day tomfoolery should only apply to new gun owners!

  • @woodlandcammo27 I was being sarcastic. Here in kansas we have 1 or 2 gun shows a month. You buy it and get it on the spot. I stopped buying new guns a couple of years ago. Sick of the government knowing what I am doing.

  • @woodlandcammo27

I was being sarcastic back buddy =)

Seriously I do think a 10 day, hell even a 2 month wait would be good for some new gun owners but if you already have a few guns it's pointless. Since the logic of a wait is they want you to be less mad, if you already have guns if you were evil you would of been evil a long time ago,you know?

  • did you enjoy your cooling off period

  • @TheKentuckykid9513

    No!

    I didn't want to wait 10 days! I was mad now =P

  • the finish is parkerised, kinda matt black, its durable and i like it, i dont like the glare on some of the polished or blued guns. these er solind guns thoe, im gonna get one but im gettn the m200 with the 4 inch barrel and black finger groove grips. and no i never have to pay all them damn fees, but live in ky.

  • @gunman848

My buddy futuresolider96 just picked up the M200 and made a video. Check it out man.

I've already put about 250 rounds through mine and I'm taking it tommorow and I'll put another 250 through it and review it. It's a nice gun for the price. Only complaint is its not +P rated but its not big deal for me because it's not my home defense gun.

Cool gun to add to any collection since Armscor is not too well known.

  • that the "tubbs" special hahaha didn't the black guy on miami vice ( show ) always use a snub nose

  • @pray4chicken

Not a big Miami Vice fan but the Colt Detective which this gun is a rip off of is in Mafia the video game!

Snub noses in general are in a lot of movies and games thats why I had to have one. I just picked up the cheapes new one I can find!

  • @FireArmsResQ I hear ya. I saw this same gun where we buy ours. I was telling my dad we should buy it for my grandmother since she wants to learn to shoot lol and it's just her size lol. Speaking of video game guns I really wanted the taurus raging bull after seeing it I. Resident evil lol then decided to go with the m44 model. I saw a Rossi. .357mag for $300 kinda want it now hahaha

  • @pray4chicken

Original RE on PSone had the Colt Python 357, The Remake on GC Was it a .44 Magnum? Then of course RE5 had the S&W500. I gotta get that gun man! Just to have it =P

357 is my favorite Caliber. Not the most powerful of the magnums but still badass and ammo is decently cheap.

I'm holding off on the Armscor review because I want to review it with some good shooting footage. It's a nice little gun for the price and very easy to shoot. Very little recoil.

  • @FireArmsResQ Check out a website called imfdb ( Internet movie firearms database) you can search resident evil ( movies and games ) and it will show all guns used.

  • lol in PA you just have to wait for them to do the back round check and your done. when i bought my pistol i think it took like 30min to an hour cause the computer was acting up

  • @mark16443

Not only do we have to wait 10 days but we are also allowed only 1 handgun a month =/

The only good thing I can say about that is I would have way too many guns if I was allowed unlimited hand guns a month.

I mean I'm sure a lot of people buy Phoenix Arms and Hi-Points because they say $150? Yeah I'll take that too. I know I would but I dont want to waste my 1 handgun a month on a Hi-Point =P

  • Besides tax all I pay in Illinois is a 3-5 dollar fee for them to call the state police for an instant background check. Then it is a 72 hour wait for handguns, 24 for long guns.

  • @Strong45Side

10 days is a killer man! I pick up another gun tommorow and i probably wont sleep tonight because I'm thinking of my gun =P

  • its 3 days in illinois

  • @futuresolider96

You got it better then us bud! I bought another gun and I'm on day 5 of the wait =P

  • @FireArmsResQ yeah i think i would die of antcipation i just bought an armscor m200 from gun broker and it wont be be here for 10 days

  • @futuresolider96

Cool man, You gonna do a video on it? What did you pay? I'm guessing less then $250?

  • @FireArmsResQ yeah im gona do a video and its funy with shipping and my ffl transfer it cost me ecactly 250

  • LOL......if u lived in NORTH CAROLINA you would be done everything in ten days.....LMAO........happy for you tho enjoy

  • @jonesandoutlaw

I'm happy for me too even though it took forever =P

  • can these guys take +p ammo?

  • @DarkheartTheHeritic

    Only Non +P

Definately not a high end gun but it works pretty good. I'll review it when I get more shootign footage of it.

  • Man I feel bad for you guys. Over here you pick it up as soon as the NICS person tells your dealer its ok. The only fee we have is 6% sales tax on anything you buy.

  • @FergusonTO35

So this gun will only be like $212 in normal states =P

  • @FireArmsResQ Try $199.00!!

  • @FergusonTO35

Well with the taxes it should be like $213 which is a lot better then the 254 I paid =P

  • Hey man can I have your gunshops contact info? My guy is a dick and he charges OBSCENE transfer fee's!

How much of a fee does your guy charge?

  • Here Ohio, we don't have that many fees. Just pay tax.

It looks like a copy of the Colt Detective model.

  • @ristin59

Yeah it appears to be a rip off of the Colt. A lot cheaper =P The Colt is high quality this gun is very cheap. Works well though and thats all you can ask for.

So yeah in other states this gun should come in at around $215ish which is a great deal. Even at $254 I still think it's a good deal.

  • @FireArmsResQ As long as it goes bang when you need it, that's all that matters.

    Leaves more money for ammo.

  • never mind lol i watched the video and saw it

  • @reaper83001

If you're not in California it should be around $220

  • how much did it cost plus tax

  • Better than nothing, good size for carry ,no very good material . Dont use the same armscor ammo , winchester it is much better , never intend to open that gun; it is pretty fragil

  • @sietepeo1

Thanks for the feedback man. Quality is pretty low but I shot 250 through it flawlessy. I'll take it out again in a week or 2 and review it.

So far I've run Blazers, Remintons and Federal through it. It's a nice gun for what it is.

  • @FireArmsResQ yeah I have the exactly revolver you got ,the 206 , the only difference is mine got factory combat rubber grip .I think that with good care and the right ammo it will doing pretty good.

  • Oh man, don't get me started on the California waiting thing... Im right there with you bro. In fact, I'm in 10 day limbo right now on my rem my 870... Tick tick fucking tick. Good vid, thanks for sharing.

  • Pretty cool pistol man. Yea Cali sucks for buying guns. I grew up in riverside. But I don't live in Cali anymore. Now I can go to the store and walk out with a gun in 20 min. 8). I like that shit. I have 1 question: is it double or single action? Thanks.

  • @MrAk47master

Both double and single. I bought it as a curiousity/novelty gun. You know cheap way to add another gun to the collection but it's actually a lot of fun to shoot. I'll be doing a very unprofessional review of it soon I just want some shooting clips of it.

Quality is kind of shitty like they forgot to blue the hammer but hey you dont compare Toyotas to Ferraris =P

  • Hey man! How's the reliability of your Armscor 206 revolver so far?

I get what you mean when you say that there aren't too many Armscor gun videos on YouTube. I have 2 Armscor reviews in my channel. Feel free to check them out. :)

  • @TheAgeOfExploration

I gotta say man I love this gun!

I have some shooting footage but I want to head out back to the desert and get more shooting footage before I review it.

I thought it would be a novelty gun to just add to the collection but Im surprised it's actually very un to shoot despite the fact that it's a snub nose with really small grips.

I intend on shooting this gun a lot more. For $250 it's great.

  • @FireArmsResQ

Awesome man! That's good to hear.

I was interested in trying out or even getting one but I heard some criticisms. Quote stantheman86 from the Gun&Game Forum: "In fast DA it "overthrows" the cylinder, also if you yank back hard on the hammer in SA it does the same. I suspect this is from a weak bolt stop spring." I also heard good reviews and praises on the Armscor revolvers.

I'll wait for your review on your Armscor 206 revolver! I haven't seen any review on YouTube.

  • @TheAgeOfExploration

Thanks for the heads up man! Going to remember to fire it rapidly double action to check the timing.

  • i have the same gun........ its a good little snubby

my only issue is the wooden handle feels wierd in the hand

  • @SWATknife

I'm surprised how much I like this gun. Bought it as a novelty gun just to add another gun to the collection. Surprisingly it's a lot of fun to shoot and I intend on getting a lot more rounds through it and reviewing it when I get some shooting footage.

  • @FireArmsResQ yea plz do another video thers no videos of this gun on youtube.

  • @SWATknife

Yeah I know! Big shock man considering there are so many videos on High Points.

  • @FireArmsResQ i got a s & w body gaurd the .38 revolver and it is really a good gun!!!

  • @melodie973

Nice man! Is it one of those crazy ass light ones that weigh as much as 3 skittles? =P

I love those guns! Love revolvers in general.

  • @FireArmsResQ yeah,it has a laser on the side of the gun made by insight!!

  • @melodie973

Yeah those are badass. $600? I only paid $250 for this one. I just wanted a smll revolver. Did I mention I love Revolvers =P

  • Move to Texas! Have you put up a vid of how it shoots? That would be great!

  • @texastitansyahoocom

I was suppose to go out to a BLM place today but it was drizzling. If the weathers good tommorow I'll head out there.

Texas and Arizona are on my to move list in the next 2 years.

  • @FireArmsResQ I think if I ever left ohio Texas and arizona are on my short list to. Ohio ain't bad but the economy here is kinda rough. Hell I put a taurus 45 on layaway 2 months ago and ain't been able to get it, freights been hit and miss and if I ain't hauling stuff I ain't earning.

  • lol yeah there isnt a whole hell of a lot to do here thats why we have open carry gun laws here so we can shoot guns and get drunk lol

no thats not what all of idaho does lol mostly up north where all the rednecks are but we love our guns and would move to another state if they tried that shit here like commie fornia is doing

  • hey bro not to slam you in commie fornia but here in idaho there is no waiting day lol and we can by ammo online lol maybey you should move here

  • @beanerflowers09

To make myself feel better I tell myself my punishment for great weather and something to do 24 hours a day is shitty car and gun laws =p

I'm a bigger car guy and gun guy and the car rules here are even worse.

I'm looking into moving in the next 2 years or so.

    No offense taken man =p

  • i have a question for you im an idaho resident and i cant seem to find anywhere online the age for buying "long guns" is it 18 or 21

also do you have a K-98?

    thanks

  • @beanerflowers09

18 for long guns 21 for handguns in most states.

I have a Mosin Nagant,AK47,Shotgun,Glock17.357 magnum sig mosquito and now this gun. Few toys nothing major.

  • i think its just me but that matte black finish is sexyyyyyy

  • @MRkill3rownage

I like it! It's "Industrial" looking. Kind of like how my AK-47 has that been sitting in a factory for 50 years look on it.

My dads Beretta has a sweet finish but man it's almost too nice to shoot!

  • But the things I do like are the finish - it's ugly in a manly way I think. And it's parkerized acctually, which is ugly, but protects better than bluing.

I also like the hammer spur. It doesn't bite and scratch my thumb like my ruger. It is very easy to cock. It's a workable gun really, and for the price, it's great. Unfortunately, they're not paying California's crazy gun roster fee next year, so I don't think they'll be on the gun roster anymore starting 2011.

  • @dadoody

I gotta get a hold of my dads Beretta so I can do a side by side. Berettas are almost too pretty to shoot. I would be afraid to put cleaner on the thing.

I like the shitty look to man. Like my AK. Looks like it's been sitting in a Romanian factory for the last 50 years =P.

I was told this gun was being discontinued? I'm glad I got a hold of it! $50 off the normal price since they will no longer hold them.

  • I bought this gun over the summer. It is a good gun.

2 issues: Mine came with Wood grips - they suck. I got some Pachmayr's for it, and they fit perfect. The one for the Colt Detective Special. The gun is very usable and comfortable with pachs.

The 2nd issue to consider is due to the material used, there is issue with binding if you fire a lot. Around 50rounds of continuous shooting will expand the metal a tad and might cause a bit of binding.

  • @dadoody

Did you have to modify the grips at all or did they drop right in?

I'm looking forward to shooting this thing. So just dont shoot it 50 times in a row?

  • @FireArmsResQ - Pachmayr grips for colt-D detective special will fit without any modification. Fits perfect actually. They're about $30, but I got them for $10 from a member of the gun board I post on. Actually, there are pictures there. just go to Calguns dot net, and do a search. ALL California gun owners need to use Calguns. Anyways, it's not bad - even 50 times in a row. I do it to get it hot and temper it.
