  • I do a 4 day split but i would like to use this for fat loss. Could i do this on the same day? Or would it be bettr for the off days? Thanks buddy.

  • @TMVIJV Thanks for watchn! Do it as a Metabolic finisher after your strength training workout, once or twice per week not on your days off. Thanks again

  • @rydmiller Thanks for getting back to me. Great video. Take care :)

  • @TMVIJV anytime!

  • What weight medicine ball is the best all around for core excercise?

  • @bfsmtc1 It depends...the ball in the video is 10bs. It all depends on what is challenging to you. I use anywhere from 10-20lbs

  • Great routine!! I've sweated as crazy!! In the third round I thought I was going to die! loll But, I was determinated to finish it and I did in 16:37 mins.!! Thanks!

  • @toujoursafleurdepeau You are very welcome and great job!! Also, thank you for checking out my vids

  • The video and workout is good for fat burning. I do have a link of a site that gives workout plans and exercises in order to help you gain muscles and achieve the looks you ever wanted. Youtube won't allow me to post the link but I posted the link on my profile.

  • its easy n nice than regular tiring exercise

  • so how long does it take to see results

  • @TylerWhite56 depends on how hard you work, what other training you are doing & what you but into your body(what you eat)

  • I love this workout! I do it every day followed by medicine ball / core ball combinations then cardio. I have lost 32 pounds in 6 weeks. Best part, I am gaining mobility and my back has never felt better! Mahalo Brah!

  • @fromdaddytoanya That's awesome and congrats on the weight loss!! Glad to hear my vid helped. Keep up the hard work and thanks again for watching!

  • right, i can do the whole workout thing 3 times with 1 min breaks etc but how often should i do it? twice a day or 4 times a week? nice video though, gonna use your routine for a while

  • @UpcomingRapstarr Thanks man!! Do the workout a couple of times per week in addition to a couple of other resistance training workouts

  • this is such an amazing workout!!! i swear i loose an inch every time i do it.lol. thanks alot!! :)

  • @msmae83 That's awesome!! Glad my vid/workout can help

  • Cool, but I'd think a medicine ball's most advantageous use would be to *bounce* it , hard, off of the appropriate wall, floor, ceiling, or heavy bag. (Don't try that with kettlebells!) This allows truly explosive training, otherwise only possible swinging sledge hammers onto truck tires, (or, of course, actual wood-chopping), and at angles the sledge/axe can't do.

  • @lazur1 The med ball is very versatile. Slamming, throwing, smashing is a great way to use it as well

  • good video. nice routine. gives me some ideas on how i can use my medicine ball.

  • @acestarone Thank you...glad I could help!

  • Great vid hope you can do another one maybe something like a 30 min cardio workout with 30 second rest periods.

  • @mikeyfelley I'll see what I can do. Thanks for watching!

  • this kicks my ass

  • @andrewvo Glad it kicked your ass! Lol! Thanks for checking out my vid

  • @pvcdreamin sounds good...thanks for checking out my vid!

  • Cool workout I'm about 75lbs over weight and I'm ready to lose weight and get healthy! Do you think this is what I need to lose the weight! Thanks so much!

  • @45jeetr472 a good fat burning workout and a healthy diet will definitely help you lose weight. Thanks for watching my vids

  • Awesome workout, Ryan..honesty time here...I never did a med ball workout before, and saw you're video and figured it would be a good warm up or something and tried it out..lol...kicked my a**..! This will definitely be in the rotation..thanks!

  • @andolini77 glad you liked the workout John...it's definitely a a** kicker!! Thanks for watching

  • Just curious: can you do with a weight plate or something similar instead of a med ball? If so, does the medicine ball offer a particular advantage over a weight plate?

  • @rmsolympic1 you can do these exercises with a weight plate as well. The medicine ball's just a little more versatile tool. I have some sand filled med balls so when you move the ball in different patterns the sand shifts around making the ball a little unstable, adding some different dynamics to the exercises. Thanks for checking out the vid!

  • This is why medicine balls are the best kind of workout. Nice vid

  • @jeffbass999 MedBalls are an awesome training tool! Thanks for watching my vid!

  • Hey Jon...In the vid I'm using a 15lb(7kg) med ball. If you are a beginner I would use a 10lb med ball and your girlfriend use a 6-8lb(3-4kg) med ball. The basketball would not give you enough resistance. Thanks for checking out my vid and let me know if you have any other questions

  • hey... i was looking for exercices for me and my girlfriend... this exercice is good... excellent vid... this is a medicine ball? what size? can i make this with basketball?

  • very helpful...thanks man

  • Awesome workout! I did it on my Bosu ball to make it a lil more challenging.

  • @kha0tic1 Thank you for checking out my workout! Adding the the Bosu ball is a nice twist as well!

  • This video is great. So simple, so useful. Do still do personal training?

  • This rocks. So many videos on youtube but this one is short, to the point, and extremely useful. Thanks. You can really get alot out of this peice.

  • I tried this workout and I worked up quite a sweat. I only did one set, but I plan to build my stamina for two sets. How often would you recommend doing this exercise to get ripped abs?

  • @rodrigod75 thanks for watching my video. I would suggest 2-3x wk. Add it to the end of your total body workouts. If you are looking to get ripped abs what you eat is even more important than the workout. Eat naturally occurring foods...fruits, vegetables, lean meats and fish. Snack on unsalted almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, raisins and anything else that grows from a tree, a bush or the ground.

  • Sorry about all the removed comments... :-/ But anyone any idea who my lower back muscles are killing me during this workout? - Ain't worked out in ages (like 2 years) but thought this would be a nice one to start with using a 6.6lb ball.

Had to stop mid way thru the 2nd set as couldn't hardly stand with the lower back pain...

...any thoughts? Could it just be a case of lack of exercise and fitness rather than technique? Pretty sure my form was good. thanks.

  • @Paulsy007 that's ok. It is most likely lack of exercise in over 2 years. Also, this is not me being a jerk or mean, but your core(low back, hips, deep abs) are probably weak from the lack of exercise. Be cautious of your form. Anytime you bend forward, hinge from your hips, don't let your back round. When you squat, drive thru your legs and hips not with your back. And remember, start slow and work your way up..."crawl before you walk"

  • @rydmiller Thanks for the sound advice man. I'm probably too subborn for my own good thinking that I can throw myself back into as if my fitness hasn't declined. Defo think my core is really weak as my lower back aches while crunching too. Will have to refrain from pushing too hard at the early stages. Thanks again for the reply!

  • @Paulsy007 No problem...let me know if u have any other questions or concerns

  • Im looking for something quick to do in the morning before work. I hit the gym 3-4 day a weeks for weights and cardio in the evening. Is this something we could do daily? Or should we just stick to a few times a week. It looks like a good way to jumpstart your heart and thank you for the video.

  • thank you for checking out my vid! It probably wouldn't hurt if you did it 5-6x per week, first thing in the am. try and let me know how you feel

  • thanks man! i recommend doing this quick workout 2-3x/week.

  • glad I can help and congrats on the body transformation! keep up the great work and I will be definitely sending you more videos!

  • I did this the other day with an 8pound weight, my back is so sore and tender rite now, i guess it used muscles i dont use a whole lot when weight training normally. But awesome workout go my bpm upto 170 doing it 330calories in 15mins. Awesome workout!

  • when training with the med ball you'll definitely hit muscles you haven't used before! Just make sure your form is good and while doing the exercise itself you shouldn't get any sharp pain. glad you liked it and keep training hard!

  • How much should the ball weigh?

  • I use a 15lb ball. You'll have to try a few different weights to see which one is challenging enough for you. Thanks for checking out my video!
