  • Yeah, I could really laugh at your post as well! You truly are ignorant. You see, in U.S.C.F.-rated Blitz tournaments, like the U.S. Open Blitz Championship, from which this video was taken, it is announced at the beginning that illegal moves lose, no matter what they are (usually unresolved checks). In other words, if a player leaves a King in check, the opponent is free to capture it. Obviously, regular tournament chess and Blitz chess are NOT the same, nor do they follow the same rules.

  • @jtlauser The King can be captured if left in check that also is how it is on the street chess scene if you leve your self in check in a blitz game and your opponent grabs your king on his move you LOSE period!!!!! Accept it....Know it... Embrace it.....for it is the truth

  • @jtlauser you're totally all right. To those all who say that you can't take the King... please investigate a little about blitz.

    Congrats!!

  • lol.i would love to play with you.you dont even know the basic.when someone makes an illegal move he doesnt lose,he just have to take it back.you lose beacuse you run out of time.

  • you cant win in this way.the opponent must take his move back.actually you lose if you run out of time

  • Nice one Jessica!
