I totally agree that love is not going to be enough. I'm at a Canadian university (we're only expected to pay 5% of the expenses) that is over $15 000 for housing & school. I barely get enough to cover the expense for me so 14 kids wouldn't survive. For a master's someone has to agree to be your mentor & sign documents saying that your research is a contribution to the field. There isn't going to be anyone who will take her on because she is so irresponsible; her kids said so in the interview
