my brother had one (it looks like one of those atleast)

the years we had it and it liked to jump alot aswell when we had it on the couch it would jump from the top of the couch to the bed behind it.

i dont remember if we did give it any name and sometimes he jumped between differnet persons like when my brother had him on the shoulder he jumped at my mom she gasped and started laughing as he was sitting on her.

it died because of some strange bacteria in its stomach i think it refused to eat.

Since it's Australia I figured it was one of the knob-tailed geckos rather than being partially tailless? Either way, sounds like a big angry cicada but it sure made you jump! @Fuzzyfun12 If you read his description, they found the gecko in their house, which I believe is not too uncommon in Australia. The gecko isn't being abused at all. They are just filming it because they probably thought it was cool to find one inside their house however because it is wild the gecko is showing its defenses. The gecko isn't being hurt at all. And if you further read the videos description, they took it out back to their garden and released it.
