  • Nice job. I see a winters worth of firewood.

  • I find that most people who think a tree is dying don't have a clue. The owner of a funeral home in my town cut a 30" ash and told me it was dying. That tree was probably the healthiest ash I've ever seen. This beech here looks OLD you can tell by the huge size and high percentage of dead weight. I don't know why the saw operator yo-yos the throttle so much either.

  • @transdrole

ermm are you suggesting this tree wasn't dying? also what do you mean by yoyo 'ing the throttle?

  • a shame it is filmed with such a poor camera performance

  • @perkerfrans

agreed....wish i could afford to pay a pro to get some footage one day

  • Why was this beautiful tree felled?

  • the tree was dying. you need only look at how some of those limbs were shattering as they landed to see how brittle the structure had become.

  • Great climbing, such a nice flow to it all. Loved at 3.45 when the branch shattered on the way down. Good job.

  • awesome work

  • Perfect job!. Huge tree! That tree was monster and you had it brushed out in what ooked like under 10 minutes, well, ok maybe 30 minutes. Sweet!

Again thats one monster tree made look easy .

  • good job! i love those big cut'n'run trees. i got one posted without the camera crew, but it tells the story ok. u cut the center from the front. i misjudged the tree and it shows. cheers!
