After doing this and installing Spire on my iPad it has now flipped out into the dreaded "iPhone mode". Tiny icons and all the GUI is replaced with iPhone GUI. :-(

This does work on iPad 2 but you do need to change the string back as websites start loading the mobile versions and the app Front Row disappears. It isn't 100% needed to go back it is just that it is an annoyance and you probably wont use front row anyway!

@nobodymik Yeah I had that problem too. It is caused by a corrupt or deleted K48AP.plist, so either replace the K48AP file or do a fresh restore, and jailbreak

Doing this made "Picture Frame" disappear from ipad settings. When you change back to "True" you get the error message "There was an error loading the preference bundle for Picture Frame"
